  1. It goes to show the offensive shift from Harrell to Reeder, as well as bringing in Mayes. TE doesn't seem to be an afterthought anymore, and given Littrell's experience coaching tight ends, it's surprising it took this long.
  2. Eh, doesn't seem like Littrell wants to do that Hair-Griffin, Darden were both HS QB's and we haven't used either for a trick play. Either way, he's a good athlete, and I'm sure they'll figure out how to use him.
  3. I sure do love college football Saturdays at The App. The App is the best small stadium in the country. If there's one thing RV did right, it's THE APP
  4. Looks to be a PWO for the 2019 Class from what I can tell
  5. The real question is will he be so far behind other kids that we'll only get one or two quality seasons from him. I know we have to recruit a lot on "potential" but what if that doesn't pan out?
  6. Don't say that too loud. Healthy skepticism is frowned upon around here
  7. Looks like we're ruining everything again. Back in my day, we wore Green and White, and THAT'S IT. THE SONG DOESN'T SAY "SINGING GLORY TO THE WHITE, SINGING GLORY TO THE WHITE". MIGHT AS WELL CHANGE IT TO "SINGING GLORY TO EVERY DAMN COLOR OF THE RAINBOW" You know what? We also respected OUR VETERANS, and AMERICA Country's going to hell in a handbasket
  8. Looks like our boys are already talking to him. Love to see this
  9. Well that sucks. Fun fact: I asked around the grapevine from a few neighbors back home in Midland, and Karl's dad was actually my elementary PE coach. Maybe I can pull a few strings 🤷‍♂️
  10. I probably should've clarified that it was my first season as a student at UNT. I was technically a junior at that point, either way it made me a fan for life
  11. 2013 was so magical. It was my first season as a student, we were actually good, and I hurled insults and cursed at the other teams players like it was going out of style
  12. 3 safety spots probably does help. It seems to me that getting in these super athletic safety types and putting them where you need them (WR/CB/LB/S) is a safe bet.
  13. Also noticed Saafi at 300 lbs and Colvin at 286 lbs Looks like they're trying to have more size/positional versatility, which would make sense for what they're recruiting. Get a DE at 250-260, teach him/redshirt him, get him to gain 20-30 pounds, and you got a guy who can line up at all 3 spots on the DL
  14. Sounds like you hate America /s
  15. Who needs wins, competent coaches, donors, and facility upgrades when you have Rock n Roll Sushi and Jimmy Johns?
  16. Going from #Hit6 to #6ForHeisman in 5 years. Damn it feels good that the minimum expectation is a bowl game at this point. Used to be that was the end goal. What a difference a competent AD and HC can make.
  17. Any D-Line recruits, specifically DT/NT that we're targeting?
  18. http://forgotten5.com/2019/06/04/2019-conference-usa-qb-preview-north-texas/ Some decent stuff here
  19. Patrick Cobbs was on the cover next to Kevin Kolb and a couple others
  20. Yeah, it's a lofty goal for sure. Undefeated, couple of P5 wins, and hope that a similar MWC or AAC school doesn't do the same in a season.
  21. Agreed. He'll be celebrated for stats, big wins, and incredible plays, but it's his character that will stand out the most IMO.
