  1. I like the enthusiasm, but better than the all time leader in just about every passing statistic in NCAA history? That's a bit of a stretch.
  2. Wood at 200 lbs playing LB? I think if anyone needs a RS season, it's him. In fact, the relative light weight of our starting LB's is a bit concerning to me. I think Gaddie has a better chance of getting significant playing time
  3. That's my (adopted) boy! He's gonna be a force this year
  4. Not to mention Shorter dusting a P5 corner I have a feeling that kid is going to be a Dez Bryant type player. Big body, speed, hands. Throw it up there and let him get it
  5. Easly came from SFA. Torrey, EJ have been the biggest JUCO hits in the Littrell era. Erik Jenkins and Kemon Hall were both very good for us as well.
  6. Looks like my original thought of Ascher Frow taking his spot might be correct. The coaches knew he wouldn't be here so they went and got someone who would
  7. I don't doubt it. I just listed what their current position on the roster is listed at
  8. Was going through the roster and saw a bunch of new names. I'll try to include them all here David Chapple- RS FR. WR - North Little Rock HS, Arkansas HUDL: https://m.hudl.com/profile/5168310/David-Chapple Preston Buchanan RS FR. DB - Bridgton Academy, Missouri HUDL: https://m.hudl.com/profile/11681897/Preston-Buchanan Trey Henderson FR. 9. ^That is exactly where my seething hatred for that school began.
  10. If UTSA isn't our rival, who is? It's gotta work both ways. I hate them, I hate SMU. One hates UNT, and the other could care less. LaTech would be a welcome rival. Until then, UTSA(whether you want to admit it or not), is the closest thing we have to a rival.
  11. 247 is the most up to date and accurate recruiting service. Rivals only rates kids when they have a paid recruiting person for that team. That's why teams like UTSA and LaTech always have the best Rivals ratings For reference, our Rivals ranking is 87 UTSA is 76 with 7 less recruits LaTech is 39
  12. Did anyone watch the Cheeze-It bowl with them and TCU last year? Might've been quite possibly the worst game I've ever seen. Something like 8 combined turnovers and horrendous QB play
  13. When they returned the first recruiting class was uncapped and Bill Clark loaded up on a bunch of JUCO players
  14. https://www.sunherald.com/sports/college/conference-usa/university-of-southern-mississippi/article231723678.html Sounds more likely than not but there's a possibility he may still be ineligible for the fall if his grades aren't up
  15. What's that Jim? Is that one of the Maniacal UNT 17 right around the corner? Watch out! They're gonna get you!
  16. It's because he doesn't have a scapegoat now that RV is fired. Used to be the go-to subject matter expert of the UNT 17 doing 9/11, interfering in our elections, and leading secret pedophile rings out of a pizza shop to prop up RV's efforts as AD. Now that Baker is the AD, the chemicals that were turning the freaking frogs gay are no longer in the water, and Jim has nothing to bitch about other than the sake of bitching
  17. Would also love to see a USM rivalry develop. They've had consistency unlike most in the conference
  18. I mean outside of special teams I can't imagine Evan Johnson and Wyche will get much playing time. Siggers is fairly unknown but was a highly rated recruit out of HS. Addaway is a true freshman but clearly the biggest of the group, and Easly is coming off an injury. Right now we only have Torrey and Smith as "known" commodities(Johnson looked good his freshman year). Everyone else is questionable to a certain degree. Which probably lends to having such a deep backfield. Plus it doesn't hurt to have the best situational players available. Bill Belichick talked about it this past season with his RB's. He would never ask Burkhead to do James White's job, and would never ask Sony Michel to do Rex Burkhead's job. Everyone is good at something, let that guy do what he's good at, and let the others do what they're good at
  19. I thought it just this year due to the winter classic being setup at the cotton bowl?
  20. First semester at Kerr with a Heroin addict who was taken to rehab by his dad halfway through the semester. College Inn the rest of the way, when it was upperclassmen only.
  21. But last I heard, Nick Starkel is ass my dude
  22. I think it’s safe to say he’s gonna stick around:
  23. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/college-footballs-top-60-running-backs-2019 53. DeAndre Torrey, North Texas Loren Easly’s injury early in the 2018 campaign opened the door for Torrey to receive more snaps as the year progressed. The former junior college prospect finished the season by recording at least 130 yards in four out of his final five games. Overall, Torrey collected 977 yards and 15 touchdowns over 175 attempts and recorded 25 receptions for 205 yards and two scores. Other conference notables include Spencer Brown, Benny LeMay
