  1. If you expect our WR's to catch every jump ball against good DB's, I have bad news for you. We can agree to disagree on that one. Either way, I'm still not convinced Bean is going to give us the best chance to win, even if he can run a 4.3. I'd love to be proven wrong on that one though. I just want to win.
  2. Agreed. I thought it was a pretty poor throw. Shorter had a step on Gaddie and Bean made him turn back to get it. Not a great recipe for success, even for a guy with Shorter's size.
  3. Looks like he's second to last in this video. Seems to be moving well with no brace
  4. I'm okay with that. Get a bunch of athletic guys at 6'3 230 and you have a lot of flexibility. Could bulk em up and switch them to OL/DL, lean them out and switch them to WR (Remember Jyaire Shorter was a TE in high school). The more guys we can get that have that kind of size and can move, the better.
  5. https://oklahoman.com/article/5668567/oklahoma-high-school-football-pawhuska-hires-former-north-texas-qb-mason-fine-as-assistant-coach Coaching..... Bryce Drummond, current 2021 QB commit.
  6. San Antonio Community College Hair care and Tire Center
  7. Littrell did say he wanted to end up running the triple option at the end of his career
  8. They didn't really mention it, but what does the offense look like? With Bloesch and Wallis being Briles guys are we gonna see more tempo/Baylor stuff like Seth has promised since day one? Or are we gonna get the kinda spread, kinda air raid, moderate tempo kind of offense that Seth has run here so far? If we can run plays every 15 seconds and do it consistently I think the quick reads and easy handoffs will mask a lot of the OL questions. If we make Bean/Aune sit back and dissect the defense I think we're in for a long season. Make it easy, make it fast, and let them do their jobs.
  9. IOWA SURE IS GREAT, IF ONLY MAC COULD'VE IOWA'D A BIT MORE IOWA IN HIS NORTH TEXAS IOWA, WE WOULD'VE FLORIDA IOWA MORE OFTEN. I got to UNT in spring of 2013 so my first football season was the HOD season and I was immediately a fan, even went to the Texas game the next year thinking we had a shot. It was all downhill from there. He seemed like a decent guy, minus the alcoholism and spousal abuse, but I saw through his facade pretty quick. Hope he's doing okay.
  10. Jadeveon Clowney was also a 1.0000 coming out of high school
  11. I've always thought Billy was cute. .......Wait
  12. China teaming up with the interdimensional child molesting vampire Clintons to conspire against the American people. It's all a hoax people. WAKE UP. FIRST THEY TURN THE FRIGGIN FROGS GAY AND NOW THE WUFLU. WHAT'S NEXT
  13. Great pickup. Has great upside if he can get closer to 300. This is the kind of recruit we need to get at every position. Multiple G5 offers
  14. DID SOMEONE SAY IOWA. I TELL YOU WHAT IF NORTH TEXAS JUST IOWA'D SOME MORE IOWA, WE WOULD IOWA OURSELVES STRAIGHT TO A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WITH FLORIDA IN IOWA
  15. Eh at this point a 3* rating is almost default. 247 has been handing them out like candy
  16. Another guy we beat out North by Southeast Polytechnic School of Mines for. All joking aside he has good size, but the lack of D1 offers is concerning.
  17. Just saw that the Pac-12 is expected to follow suit
  18. Manase Mose was under recruited for being 6'1 but he's been an absolute steal for us. Easily our best OL recruit under Littrell so far
  19. I'm definitely questioning him now. Year 5 and no excuses because all the players are his and his system is well installed. If he doesn't make a bowl game fire his ass
  20. Really sad about Men's Volleyball, as NM Green mentioned, Stanford has been a pillar in men's volleyball for a long time. As a VB player and general fan myself it's really unfortunate to see.
  21. If you haven't seen the documentary "13th" it'll help explain a lot to those of who are arguing to keep the statues. Nixon implemented the Southern Strategy in the mid to late 60's as a response to increasing civil rights among black people. He used "law and order" (Sound familiar) to appeal to white democrats in the south to come over to the GOP. Reminder that slavery is still legal for those imprisoned. Reagan implemented the war on drugs, imprisoning hundreds of thousands, then Clinton, in a response to Reagan/HW Bush, pushed more to the center (Law and order again) and passed the 3 strike rule, the 1994 crime bill, and really implemented the rapid militarization of the police. I'm a White, born and raised Texan, my roots are from Mississippi. My great great grandfather fought and lost a leg for the South. We still visit his homestead property in northern Mississippi every so often where distant relatives still live. I've got the excuse for southern pride as much as the next white guy with conservative parents from the south. Hell I attended ROBERT E LEE High school, where part of our fight song was literally DIXIE. That being said. All of these statues represent the systematic oppression of black people in this country for hundreds of years. There is no excuse to keep these things up, just like there's no excuse for all of the racist ass policies enacted in the last 150 years( By both parties) to essentially keep black people legally enslaved through policing. Statues belong in Museums. Every president we've had since 1789 is a war criminal. Abolish the government. Taxation is theft. Black Lives Matter Edit: BLM the movement. Not the organization. They're a bunch of communists.
