  1. lol I just don't like game breaking turnovers lol. From everything I've seen, he's gonna turn the ball over more lol. If he has a great season and limits turnovers I'll be happy lol. Just show me on the field lol
  2. Aune: 9-14 for 75 yards and a TD Bean: 6-13 for 70 yards 1 TD, 1 INT 8 attempts for 75 yards 1 TD, 1 Fumble lost
  3. Unless this is just some general cryptic preseason tweet about doing well.

  4. Austin Aune. After Jason Bean starts and turns the ball over multiple times
  5. QB looks pretty solid for an FCS team.
  6. I legitimately believe if Bean starts all year he's gonna have a Jameis Winston-esque season, for every TD there's a turnover.....or two.
  7. 5-6 I expect better, unfortunately I think the shimmer is starting to wear off and Littrell might be exposed for what he is. A middling offensive minded coach that lucked into a once in a generation QB. Closer to a Kevin Wilson rather than a Mike Leach or Art Briles. I'd love to be proved wrong.
  8. I'm sticking with my boy Greg White. His name has been popping up on the practice reports a few times. I'm hoping he can be a solid WR 4/5 and push for more playing time. Good thing about this offense is the WRs rotate pretty frequently, and he should get some quality snaps.
  9. Some good insight here regarding the offense.

  10. See these highlights for what I mean. Walsh ran for 3 TD's and threw for 2(one being in garbage time) but all of his scoring plays were inside the 20 outside the one long pass.
  11. In Soviet Russia, game bets you!
  12. Bean and Aune both threw multiple INTs Not a good look. Even if the defense is improving

  14. I thought Turpin was recruited as a tackle? If I had to guess I'd say Parish/Turpin- Gray- Mose- Brown- Brammer I am curious to see what the RS Freshman have to offer. Cassidy, Brunner, Byers have all had a year in the system and all have good size. It's nice to see some actual depth on the line. Hopefully we can get some consistency there.
  15. Agreed. I still think it's a two horse race for the QB spot. I think Gibbs will get the start at the nickel, but I could see Stout pushing for playing time. Curious where Jevin Murray stands in all this. He had an incredible offer list out of high school. As for the other safeties I like Morris and Sanders to start.
  16. https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-quarterback-rankings-all-130-fbs-starters Not surprisingly we are near the bottom of the list, although for what it's worth, they seem to think Aune might be our best bet.
  17. I mentioned it was something Oklahoma St. did with Mason Rudolph and JW Walsh. Rudolph would basically run the offense to the 20 yard line, then they'd switch over to JW, who was a much better runner, and used him in different QB option packages. It was pretty effective as Walsh threw 13 TDs and ran for 13 TDs in limited action, and most coming in short yardage situations.
  18. I've said this repeatedly. He's preached tempo since day 1 and hasn't actually done it on the field. I'm not sure what Littrell means by tempo, but at this point we have 2 Briles guys on the staff, to me, "tempo" is peak Baylor under Briles. Snap the ball every 15 seconds, make the reads easy, and lean on the run game. I'm tired of hearing about how fast we're gonna go, then take our sweet ass time getting to the line, checking the sideline for the call, making the adjustment, then snapping. If you say tempo, then let's actually see it. Until then, I expect more of the same
  19. This what A&M tried to do to Kyler Murray. Make him roll out and give him three options: Receiver 1, Receiver 2, or run. It made it that much easier to defend because the defense never had to worry about the other half of the field. Not saying Bean is the next Murray, but if it doesn't work for the future number 1 overall pick, who's to think it's gonna work for our guy?
  20. I guess the question for you is, why Bean then?
  21. Wasn't Brock Berglund also a stud in practice? Josh Greer was amazing in practice. Seems like we've heard that before. If they're really playing as fast as they say they are, I think Bean has a better shot. Littrell has told us we're gonna play fast for 5 years and it still hasn't happened in real game situations. If we see the same offense we've seen for the last 5 seasons, then Aune will be much better IMO.
  22. Shitposting aside, give me Aune. I think Bean is gonna be a turnover machine. I think he's gonna try to rely on his legs too often to make plays that will turn into forced interceptions and fumbles.
  23. Based on his twitter, he seems to be preoccupied with Med School at Texas Tech
