"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" feels appropriate here.....

Judging a QB based on Seth Littrell’s assessment is not a great way to go about it. He’s never played nor coached the position. He lucked into Mason Fine and having Graham Harrell develop him. I don’t care who it is. It’d be cool to see Earle beat the odds but as long as we’re winning I don’t care who it is.

That’s his uncle I think?

I guess some people have amnesia with Reffett. When we had the right guys 2017-2019 our defense was good to great at times. Might be a bit rough this season, but I expect they’ll right the ship. Just gotta recruit their asses off.

This scenario doesn't seem likely - this OSU Beaver guy is just letting all kinds of crazy scenarios fly. That being said, if this were true, the west is an absolute bloodbath and I'd be more than happy to be in this conference.

Might be. I think both fanbases are somewhat hesitant to say it's a rivalry for whatever reason. UTSA-Texas State has more geographical/historical relevance, but the last 10 years? UTSA has been our best rival bar none. There's mutual hatred, the series is even with close games most of the time, and a lot of the times it's been a game of importance.

My Prediction For Starting QB. (It Has Changed)

I don't have a 247 premium account because I'm cheap, but Reed Smith did a 1st team rep count for each QB a day or two ago -
My Prediction For Starting QB. (It Has Changed)

Right, because Patrick Mahomes and Cam Ward are indicative of a guy who doesn’t know what a good QB is. You know what IS indicative of a guy who doesn’t know what a good QB is? A guy who’s never coached quarterbacks. Morris has been here less than a year, he built a UIW program that went from a laughingstock to a conference champion. If he needs the time to evaluate his best option, I trust him way the hell more than I trust Littrell or Bloesch. This happens again next year? I’m all in with you. I don’t think it does, because I think Morris knows what the hell he’s doing. Something Littrell showed he didn’t know the moment Harrell walked.- 89 replies

My Prediction For Starting QB. (It Has Changed)

It's so incredibly refreshing. Littrell never said anything about anyone. Morris is still keeping important stuff close to the vest but he's been so much more transparent on position groups and players, and even overall camp performance. It's fantastic as a fan to actually kinda know what the hell is going on in the program.- 89 replies

Hey can I copy your homework? Yeah just make sure it looks different so they know it isn't the same: Honestly have no idea. Just a gut feeling. I also thought Dajon Williams was gonna lead us to the promised land so there's that. -
7 feels reasonable FIU, LaTech, ACU, Navy, Temple, Tulsa, Memphis/UAB.

Welcome to the board! We’re all excited for your son. He’s gonna be great for the Mean Green.

Booger or Mason Fine

I hate the thought of having to face the triple option a couple times a year, but they guarantee national (and international) support. Army-Navy is annually one of the biggest games in all of CFB, and the winner of the Commander in Chief trophy is also a pretty big deal that's often talked about during the season.

I am starting to think this may really be happening!

OSU, Wazzu, Boise, Colorado St, SDSU, Air Force. Hell go get Gonzaga as basketball only, and Army as FB only. Multiple football/basketball powers, all three military academies. Would make a good case for A5 status IMO -
But have you heard about SMU trying to join every P5 known to man and getting denied at every stop because nobody actually thinks they're worth a damn? Back to the original post. Excited for Wesloski, he was an under the radar guy that was highly productive in HS. Good size too Conwright could be huge in the slot, particularly when he has a head coach who was a stellar slot guy himself.

Problem is she came with Gilbert, one of our best recruiters. I'm sure he had a hand in bringing her here and not just because she's attractive.
-
Agreed, I'm hoping our offense resembles more of the Mason Fine/Graham Harrell days. Seems to be leaning that way, but we still took plenty of shots down the field with Fine. He was just so damn good in the short/intermediate stuff

I have no inside info, but the fact they brought him in has to mean something. Couple that with him being here for a couple years makes him the more sound choice. Ruder seems to have a better arm from what I've seen, but accuracy will definitely make a difference and I think Rogers takes the crown there. Same with mobility. Ruder can move, but Rogers seems more likely to have the Bean-esque explosive runs where Ruder would be good to get 15-20 in a pinch. I've said it before, but based on his experience and QB's coached, I fully trust Morris to pick the best guy for the job and I'm glad he's doing his due diligence.

Well deserved. He's catching a lot of flack from Rough Riders fans, but he is getting absolutely swarmed on every play. I'm not sure Tom Brady could light up the scoreboard with that OL
