Honestly surprised Littrell didn't hire him back for that specific reason

Are you optimistic about the future of UNT Athletics?
MGNation92 replied to Jonnyeagle's topic in Mean Green Football
I get that. He's been medicore in the NCAA tournament, but never having a losing season and winning a title (regular season or tournament) almost every year is insane. I wish his style was little more offense focused to better compete with teams in the NCAA tournament, but as far as all time coaches at UNT? Hedlund is easily the best and most consistent. -

I would say Yes overall, with some question marks Wren has really shined in some of his hires. McCasland and DeLong being the two best. Jalie has been okay, and we don't know about volleyball yet. Hedlund is Hedlund. As long as he's here I trust women's soccer will be a powerhouse. Sheffield has also been solid on the Track and Field front, and the golf teams are always competitive. Can't say much on swimming and diving. Littrell is completely uninspiring and is not a good coach. Football is the gateway to the university, and if we don't fix it, we're doomed to fail as an athletics program. That being said, we're certainly in a much better position going forward than we were 5 years ago -
Almost equally atrocious was us wearing the flying worm/throwback uniforms way too often, and getting rid of the FIne era Green/White uniforms. Easily the best look we've had in a long time

Crack Cocaine, a substance that disproportionately affects inner city and African American communities, possibly introduced by our own agencies (looking at you CIA). Joe Biden sponsors the heinous '94 Crime Bill that leads to SKYROCKETING incarceration rates, again disproportionately affecting the inner city African American communities, including harsher sentencing for crack use over powder cocaine. Then, nearly 30 years later, further enables abuse in these same communities on the taxpayers dime. Tack on the fact that slavery is LEGAL in the prison system, and having a VP who was a notoriously harsh DA in California, especially towards drug offenders. Are they really helping these communities? Or do they really just love the free labor? I'm not making this a Right vs Left thing, I just think it's a continuation of aiding people who have already been affected by these harsh policing policies towards eventual imprisonment and/or death. Something the government loves to do. Imprison and murder it's own citizens.

Couldn't have said it better myself Last year we were excited we got Caleb Johnson away from OU. Now we're excited we got a kid away from Chadron State

I'm gonna take a guess and say these commits have little to no FBS offers, and we're battling South by Northwest Montana Tech for their commitment? Seth and Luke must've been damn good snake oil salesmen last year, because this year recruits are waking up to the truth of how bad of a situation we have and are clearly adjusting. Nobody wants to get on a sinking ship. I don't blame them

Mike Bloesch, a former O-Line player, who's only coached O-Line at the collegiate level, is now our QB coach. Absolute joke of a head coach. Who in their right mind does this? "Hey Coach, I know you're really good at teaching kickslides and hand placement for blocking. Now you're gonna teach high-low progressions and how to throw the football from various angles"

Double bump. Now recruiting is officially a dumpster fire and we’ve lost 3 starters in a 24 hour period Fire Littrell. Now.

Wish him well. Was always a positive player on the sidelines and did his job. Shame he never got a chance to start with all the mediocre QB play we've seen the last two seasons

The real question is, is he the third cousin twice removed of the assistant to the waterboy on Art Briles 2005 Houston staff? -

Look for some random 8th string WR on the 2013 Baylor Bears team
