  1. You mean the most embarrassing loss in school history on Homecoming night?
  2. Had Carson Kropp last year and he didn't do much, only playing special teams. Hoping he's put in the DE/LB rotation more this season, but for this year I'm adopting #9 Ja'Mori Maclin. Dude is gonna be a stud for us
  3. End result is the same because it's Littrell. Lose Bowl game in the first scenario, Lose bowl game AND conference championship in the second.
  4. Comparing arguably the greatest coach in NFL history to a guy that's had two 9 win seasons at a G5 school is a bit of a stretch.
  5. Bowls are an opportunity to compete and win against at least a comparable(if not better) team. Littrell has done neither.
  6. I'm sure Wren has the exact same mindset. Fire Littrell, hire a legitimate FB coach, expand facilities, and keep building basketball into a powerhouse
  7. I mean why not? If I knew my team was guaranteed to beat a team 45 minutes up the road by 30 I would go. Beatdowns are fun to watch
  8. The amount of times he airmailed a ball 20 yards over a guy's head was insane. So many easy 15-20 yard passes that were missed by a country mile
  9. I was about to say. I think I could run at least a 5.6. And I haven't played in years

  11. Stone Earle throws a touchdown pass, but somehow relates back to Aune.
  12. This is the exact reason why Seth is so disappointing. Yes we have a putrid history with minimal success so he's been better than that, but regardless of how many wins (He's still under .500 for his career) he has, the trophy case is still barren. He has nothing to show for it. So sub .500 and no bowl/championship wins as one of the highest paid coaches in the conference in his 7th year? That's what I'd call extremely disappointing for any normal fanbase. The problem is we're so beaten down as a fanbase that having a good staff and lucking into the greatest QB in school history is good enough. No it's not. We pay the man a lot of money, and he still hasn't done anything. This needs to be the ultimate shit or get off the pot season. No more excuses. You have the money, the resources, the staff, the players. Anything less than 7 wins and a bowl win and he should be shown the door. Period.
  13. Reed Smith also noted in his 24/7 article from Tuesday that it was the first time Gunnell took first team reps. Said the staff still maintains that Aune is the starter but Gunnell seems hot on his heels.
  14. This guy is lesser known but always cracks me up
  15. Agreed. We already know what we have with Aune. Ruder had his chance and failed, but he wasn't all that exciting to me in the first place. I was just hoping for ANYTHING better than Aune. Hoping Gunnell can finally be that guy. If not, we're in for another 5-7 or 6-6 season.
  16. Welcome back! Also enjoy your commentary and banter. I wouldn't be too worried, Lashlee helped develop the Dykes system early on so there's probably more continuity than you think. Not to mention recruiting has been top notch. We're probably gonna lose by 30 again because Littrell has no idea what he's doing. Our only saving grace would be if Bennett has the defense right enough to slow y'all down.
  17. McCarney did it with Richard Abbe in 2013. So it definitely wouldn't be the first time we've seen it
  18. Luckily our lifelong OL coach is gonna do wonders for the QB room. I just know it
  19. Yes. He's been here for at least a few weeks now
  20. It'll be like Benford all over again. We knew he needed to be gone, Wren knew he needed to be gone, but he waited out his contract. I get it to a certain extent, but sub .500 ball over 6 seasons should be plenty to make a decision
  21. Just a reminder we are on year SEVEN of our head coach. Seven years in and we're not even perceived to be a top 3 team in a putrid conference.
  22. It's the same feathers used in the Fine era uniforms. But I believe you're referring to the logo on my profile picture.
  23. Number 17 Grant Gunnell getting some camera time. Hoping he shows out in Fall camp and wins the job.
  24. But that is our logo? Or at least the back half of it. Oregon's is just a generic feather, ours is the actual wings/tailfeathers of the SOW logo
