  1. I would prefer Norvell over the other two. Withers seems interesting. I think lil' Briles is a bit too green at this point and is riding off of daddy's coattails
  2. The reason why I cannot credit Mac with being a good coach(along with all time losing record, countless mentions of the past, non-recruiting, excuses etc.), and am glad to see him gone. He blatantly put his friendship with Jim McNulty ahead of the team and that cost him his job. After seeing DaMarcus' performance on Saturday, it is apparent to me that he is indeed a "gamer" and Coach Mac's thoughts on that show that he was willing to crash and burn with McNulty to see it through. I have never once seen the effort or heart from mini-mac that I have from the last two game DaMarcus started.
  3. I think Vito has his players confused. I thought Macek was the rugby style guy, and Keena was the one with the cannon for a leg. It's all switched
  4. I think you could be pretty straight forward and simple "x number of coaches hired" "x number of games" "x losses" "x winning percentage" Is this the "vision" North Texas deserves? FireRV.com
  5. Don't worry, they aren't clever or organized enough to come up with said chant. Hell, 90% of the time I have to tell the students around me to shut the f*** up when we're on offense. Apparently that is a difficult concept to understand.
  6. Basically. If you look at smoo's numbers they have like "28,000" per game, with 10k butts in seats. They are pretty notorious for that, looks like we are following in their footsteps
  7. As a Molluskkin I'm offended by everything you just said, and I feel violated.
  8. Hayden Fry left in 1978. How much more time do we need
  9. What I took from RV in this article:
  10. To add insult to injury, Smatresk essentially agrees with RV in that the voices of displeasure are not "truly representative" of the masses. So much for Smatresk being our last hope. http://ntdaily.com/attendance-on-the-decline-in-major-sports-at-north-texas/
  11. I would miss him a lot more if he hadn't blatantly used favoritism over ability just to make a family friend happy
  12. He is the very reason as to why I don't donate. I donate to the Alumni Association because I believe in my school, I believe in the direction that it is heading academically. I don't not support nor believe in the direction it is headed athletically.
  13. Don't say that too loud. Mark Mangino might hear you
  14. The last time we played halloween night with black uni's and green helmets:
  15. Another possible candidate to throw in the pot that fits the "Young OC" role is Nick Rolovich from Nevada. He is 36 and coached under Chris Ault, who is credited with revolutionizing the pistol offense. He doesn't have Texas ties but seems to fit what RV might be looking for.
  16. I didn't hear the faint beeping of a forklift backing up to drop him off so I'm assuming Mangino wasn't there. Rudy's wouldn't be ready for that kind of punishment without at least a week's notice
  17. I mean, have you seen their facilities? Something tells me that's the only reason why they can hire good coaches
  18. No, but he sure looked fidgety. Like he was nervous about something. Maybe I'm just terrible at reading body language
  19. DID JIMMY JOHNS BURN DOWN?
  20. I'm sure he's a regular customer if there is. Then again he might've eaten the entire building at this point
  21. Vito spitting as per usual.
  22. Suddenly this statement is a lot funnier considering the news about Mangino
  23. Nick Quartaro was his OC at Kansas for his first 4 seasons there. I wonder who suggested him to RV?
  24. Iowa State is 59th in total offense, and 103rd in total defense. At least their offense is doing well. They just can't stop anybody So at least he can maybe recruit a QB?
