Nyc Burns, QB Berryhill/Tulsa, OK
MGNation92 replied to TravisUNT's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Maybe they feel like they have a guy already on the roster? -
I'm from the Permian Basin and came to UNT because I wanted to get the F*** out of the desert.

I saw that. Kept arguing with him. He said to come up to Littrell and ask if the staff was amateur, I replied and said every head coach the current AD has hired has a record of 31-78. Seems pretty amateur to me.
-
Somebody needs to replace Eric Capper(More like Eric Crapper, stupid, but I had to). Excuse my french but that guy is a jackass. Snarky, rude, and inefficient. Sounds about par for the course with our current AD staff.

I like Roark from NutsaCK. He was well respected when he was there and considered a good coach and recruiter. Wasn't retained by Wilson
-
Makes me wonder what kind of OL coach Davis is...

This is where we need a DL coach. I wonder when Littrell is gonna get around to doing that

you said "When is him and Graham" where it technically should be "When are he and Graham". They're just being grammar nazis. -
I might have missed an announcement, but since KP left do we know of anybody's names floating around for DL coach? Roark from UTSA would be nice but it seems quiet on that front. I understand recruiting is the main focus as of now, but wouldn't it make sense to have a full staff for recruiting? Especially at one of the most important positions on the field?

Whare in the world did qb Conner Means go?

Very hard it is to your posts read when you typing in run on sentences with grammar horrendous makes things near impossible understanding. You see can when jumbled everything is in sentences run on. -

UTSA's next head coach will be..............Frank Wilson (LSU)
MGNation92 replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I just love how some NutsaCK fans are convinced this hire will propel them into the Big 12. Oh yeah? 5 years into the existence of a program? Their offense is gonna look like ours the last 4 years: run, run, run, punt. SEC football doesn't work in CUSA(all of us can attest to this) and that's all Wilson has ever known -

I don't see the home run here that so many NutsaCK supporters are proclaiming. Sure he's a good recruiter, but he doesn't have any experience outside of high school(I believe he was a New Orleans HS coach for a while) as a HC or coordinator. Couple that with the massive difference in recruiting NutsaCK vs recruiting SEC schools, this seems more like a slow blooper to short than a home run. -
Mason Fine QB Locust Grove OK - SIGNED LOI
MGNation92 replied to TravisUNT's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
It's hard to tell. Burns seems at least a little interested but still very much committed to OSU as a PWO. Fine would be taking a chance but could pay huge dividends. Him and the Hardin kid from Irving MacArthur remind me a lot of each other. Would I personally prefer a taller QB? Sure, but then again so did Mac and we see how well that worked out. I would prefer the kid who can execute the offense the best, regardless of height. -
Committed to Kansas.

I don't give a damn how tall he is. Kid can sling it and has good vision when scrambling -

Check out his single game highlights. He shows a good amount of touch and timing on shorter routes as well. -

You mean we're allowed to have a QB under 6'4"? That's impossible. The only QB under 6'4" that was worth a damn was obviously Andrew McNulty. Hey there's a kid that's 6'5 250 that has God awful mechanics and horrendously bad completion rating with zero offers from any sort of school, let's sign him instead! -
'16 LB/DE La'Darius Hamilton Corrigan-Camden - SIGNED LOI

True. He looks like a man amongst boys out there. Huge compared to 3/4 of the players -
