  1. If it is true it’s just as much of an indictment as it was letting Bennett hire his woefully unqualified son in law, or hiring awful replacements from his first staff. Seth made a lot of bad decisions. A lot of blame has been placed other places but it’s all because of his decision making: Mediocre, just like his record.
  2. He said he’ll be calling the plays and all the guys on the offensive staff from WSU have been with him since UIW. He might hire an OC but it’ll be in name only.

  6. I watched his tape. Decent speed, good footwork, runs well after the catch. He can be a stud. Reminds me of Lawrence just based on his film. I’m just saying in the midst of the excitement around his hire we should still try to have some semblance of objectivity.
  7. Will be interesting to see. We railed on Seth for “beating” schools like UIW and South by Northeast Tech. I know Morris has had minimal time, but his offer list is less than stellar. Hopefully this is the exception and not the rule.

  16. We had that in Aune. I’m not saying those guys are the answer, I’m just saying we haven’t seen them throw the ball. Since Seth was so good at getting backups in when we’re up/down by 30
  17. People might argue how much Morris had to do with Mahomes’ success but they definitely can’t argue Jace Amaro, who was an absolute stud TE that was basically a big slot receiver. Could do the same for Christian IMO.
  18. Agreed. Give Earle or Head a chance. Both have actual playing experience. We may not even need to recruit a starter, he might already be in house. That being said if we could convince Sanders to finish his career at home I wouldn’t be mad
  19. I agree. He still needs to prove himself but he’s shown he can win, rebuild, and win again. Seth could never rebuild after 2018, and especially after Mason left. Morris went from Jon Copeland, who was pretty good in his own right, to Ward. History goes to show if you have the right QB it usually makes everything look better. We just need some semblance of defense. Something he definitely didn’t have as an OC at Tech with Mahomes.
  20. You failed to mention he won the southland twice in those 4 years, including the 6-5 year. If he goes 7-5 but he's 7-1 in conference? Big difference and a good chance he’s in the conference championship
  21. Not just bowl games. Littrell was regularly blown out against OOC G5 teams not named Army. Ironically enough, for wanting to cancel the army series because of the difficulty defending the triple option, those were the only OOC G5 games he was competitive in.
  22. Honestly would be fine if he kept Mayes, Cobbs, Petrilli. Those position groups all played well this season.
  23. This is huge. Not even 48 hours on the job and he's beating P5's with great recruiters to keep a kid here.
