  1. I would say Mainord or Nate Brown are currently our two best recruiters. Although Biagi might take that over in time. Same with Koonz. Heard good things about both recruiting abilities
  2. @BeyondTheGreen I'm assuming this will be posted on youtube as well like the other episodes?
  3. Also, there's a distinct possibility that the coaching staff asked him to delete the tweet to keep his commitment on the DL. Just saying, this staff has done that before.
  4. Yeah I really hope he follows through with what he wants and not someone else. Either way I wish the best of luck to him
  5. http://247sports.com/Player/Kason-Martin-45573380 http://www.hudl.com/profile/4493268/kason-martin We look to be his first offer. Good size
  6. Number 30 in the Area Top 50 http://interactives.dallasnews.com/2017/sportsday-top-recruits/?_ga=1.10738615.2011569183.1489411563
  7. Number 30 in the Area Top 50 http://interactives.dallasnews.com/2017/sportsday-top-recruits/?_ga=1.10738615.2011569183.1489411563
  8. It says Cornerback on his twitter but WR on everything else. Can anyone confirm what we offered him as?
  9. https://www.hudl.com/profile/4475097/cason-clay http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/cason-clay/132S5kj1EeW-8KA2nzwbTA/gendersport/football-stats.htm Not much on this kid but I saw this yesterday. Should help WR depth
  10. He'd be nice to have but I'd much rather them target a grad transfer on OL...
  11. We need to start a gofundme for a banner to be flown over practice to start the #ShanbourShouldStart campaign. Any takers?
  12. I mean I'm pulling for the kid as much as anybody but the truth of the matter is he doesn't know when to throw it away, aims the ball too often, and doesn't exactly have a rocket arm. Plus being 5'10" at best ain't exactly helping him. If he's the starter so be it, but regardless of the defense he was against, he was making the exact same mistakes as he was during the regular season. If he's making those mistakes against our 1's then he'll continue to make those mistakes in live games
  13. You also have to remember that Fine only played because of Morris' bad first game. Morris actually threw the ball better(per game avg and TD/INT ratio) in less games than Fine and he had no "game experience" so I think that's hard to say if he's truly better. Fine kept us in some games, but there was no noticeable improvement after spring practice. Especially for a player with a year in the system. That's the most worrisome part to me
  14. Pearson and Shanbour both looked better than Fine. I'm glad Littrell is going with the best guy. If that's Cade or Quinn then so be it. Ideally would like to RS Pearson but you gotta do what you gotta do to win
  15. Pearson and Shanbour easily looked better than Fine and it wasn't close. D-Line looked really good. Minor was flying around as well. Hopinng Guyton makes a bigger impact in the fall, Hair-Griffin has some serious speed. Lawrence and Duhon look like some good possession guys
  16. Maybe I missed something, but why hasn't Wilson been practicing??
  17. I was just about to post this. With this new staff I have a feeling the new unis are gonna piss off all the old timers but I'm okay with that because that's what the kids(including myself) like.
  18. He reminds me of a younger Ekeler. Higher energy, very vocal, but still very adamant about fundamentals and technique. If his recruiting is up to snuff I think he will be a great hire here!
  19. I'm honestly surprised we haven't heard more lately from Mr Hair-Griffin in the slot. Seems like Duhon and Lawrence have just been playing better as of late
  20. Looks a lot like Ivery out there. Love his patience and vision. Kid is gonna be a weapon!
  21. You mean we're no longer employing the Skladany/Cosh 15 yard cushion on 3rd and 5? How nice
  22. I grew up in Midland during the Lee Three-peat Cedric Benson/Eric Winston years. my older brother was a couple years younger than them and played scout team linebacker against Benson. Easily the best running back in high school I've ever seen. I specifically remember going to the Lee-Westlake state championship with my dad. A Westlake dad was talking to mine at halftime about how great Westlake was at making adjustments and how Lee wouldn't be able to do anything in the second half. I believe they gave the ball to Benson something like 30 straight times and he just took over the game singlehandedly. Insane
  23. Looks like you're right. Still an impressive run though!
  24. Saw this posted on twitter. I know a lot of people are excited about Nick Smith, and I am as well. I also think Anthony Wyche is gonna be a lot better his second year in the system. Should be a great group of RB's to watch
  25. You mean Ashton Preston the DB? They switch him to WR?
