Rated as a two star recruit. .7954 Composite score Edit: Watched his highlight film. Thoughts: Decent arm strength, throws a catchable ball, weird but compact release, not fast, but mobile in the pocket(reminded me of Tom Brady in that way). Plays in a similar system but might've had inflated numbers due to having two P5 receivers and a P5 running back. Good height and is a coaches kid so probably pretty smart

Who? Only person I saw make a comment was Tepper and even then he said it was "underrated"

Looks like they are paying attention to GMG

Love the sinner, hate the sin. Glad the kids are getting an opportunity to play D1 ball and for North Texas The coaching staff needs to do a better job.

The Issue With Seth Littrell's Recruiting
MGNation92 replied to MGNation92's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Gonna bump this because my point continues to stand with every new recruit we have commit -
Can we make a bid for his recruiting?
-
I'd gladly shut up. Until then, Seth Littrell can't recruit, and there's nothing on paper to prove otherwise
-
Our class doesn't rank well with any other FBS coach in the country. Recruiting services aside literally no other coaching staff thinks these players are FBS quality. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THEY SUCK. I AM NOT SAYING THEY SUCK.
-
Once again. Never said anyone sucks. Never have. There are 127 other FBS coaches that didn't offer this player or any other player in our current 2018 class. Why is that?
-
Okay if Seth Littrell signs 10 3 star kids, and ends up 2nd in the conference by day I'll shut up. WKU has a much better chance of doing so. I'll honestly be surprised if we clear a .78 average on 247
-
Lol they won our conference and have one of the highest scoring offenses in the country. We're banking on these kids to get to that point while they coast to another 10 3 star kids by signing day and continue to dominate. Just like La Tech Apples to Oranges my friend
-
With that we are now in decline of average recruit rating for the 2nd class in a row. We are also steadily declining in CUSA rankings for 2018. Especially considering Rice had a massive weekend in which we could not land a single recruit after seemingly our biggest camp ever. Seth Littrell can't recruit. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it's a duck.

Anyone interested in 2 Iowa transfers from DFW HS?

Or the fact that Littrell is quickly becoming known for his terrible recruiting skills and nobody with another FBS offer wants to come here- 9 replies

Seth Littrell's best recruiting class was his first, you know, the one where he didn't have a full cycle to recruit? Somehow he has gotten worse as time has gone on. I'm really glad other people are starting to take notice. Our recruiting is God awful and we continue to see kids who had other FBS offers choose them over us. We can identify all the talent in the world, but if we can never win a recruiting battle, what's the point?

'18 QB Aaron Allen (Missouri City Ridge Point)
MGNation92 replied to AustinFromUNT's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Looks like he went somewhere else -
So when is Mr. Martin committing to UNT?
-
Could it be Mr. Allen? I like his offer list
-
Another kid we lost with other FBS offers. Seems to be a pattern here
-
Brett Gemas is the guy behind all this. He puts out really high quality work. This is what makes me excited for the new AD. Now we're putting out graphics that rival or are better than our competition.

Hopefully our mystery QB "commit" is attending, along with a few WR's worth offering

I still don't see how multiple people on the board are seeing UTSA as a win. They beat us pretty easily last year and blew us out of the water in recruiting. Unless we make an astronomically huge jump in year 2 with relatively unknown recruits, I'm counting them as an L, even at home. I hate em as much as the next guy but I can't even begin to say that win is remotely close to a sure thing. Same with SMU. Beat us last year, and had better recruiting. I know Littrell has historically seen big jumps in year 2 offensively, but I just don't think we have the personnel, especially at OL and QB to have confidence in beating those two comfortably

Also, less important question but I noticed Evan Johnson with #26. Makes me wonder what Jeffrey Wilson's # will be?
