  1. Joe Golding would be an interesting option too. Mosley hired him at ACU, so the connection is there.
  2. If Hodge wants to go elsewhere, I wouldn't mind looking at Scott Cross. Had a couple bumpy years at Troy, but has been respectable the last two, and was amazing at UTA
  3. Adler in shambles right now
  4. I know the practices are "closed" but are we going to have any practice notes/observations from media or otherwise? Chomping at the bit to know what the new offense/defense looks like
  5. Surprised Craven didn't put 2-3 UTSA guys on the list
  6. https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/we-have-food-at-home
  7. So Bloesch was just "We have Jeff Lebby at home"?
  8. His dream job! ....oh wait
  9. New interview from Sanoe. Great work and cool to hear about the new pirates paradise workouts
  10. The real question is how the hell y'all only have 4 true road games next year
  11. Spavital ran Texas State into the ground with his transfer only recruiting. He's had some good seasons as an OC though. His last time at Cal was under Dykes, so I wonder how much that production had to do with him vs Dykes. Same question from his time under Sumlin at A&M. Wilcox is a defensive guy, so the offense will be all Spavital. A lot of complaints from my Aggie friends were that his offenses were too horizontal. Way too many bubble screens, quick outs etc. I expect to see a lot of the same concepts we're gonna run
  12. Or maybe it's more of a toughness, fight for that inch, claw with our fingernails for that inch, because that's the difference between winning and losing kind of deal? I don't know, might be reaching a bit there, but I could see that playing a role as well. They're building team chemistry, comradery. We're all in this fight together etc etc
  13. Cool to see the coaches participate too. Feels like Morris gets it where Littrell didn't, at least the last couple of years of his tenure.
  14. I don't know about best, but Rogers is Morris' guy. He inherited the rest, while specifically choosing to recruit Rogers. I think that says something. That being said, I am much more confident in Morris' ability to find a quality starter than I was with Littrell
  15. I hope Jace gets a fair shot this time around.
  16. Stone Earle ran a bunch for us last year in the wildcat.
  17. I thought they split time? Could be wrong, but either way he was pushing to start over Bean for sure Excited to see what he can do with our offense. Especially with the skill we have coming back
  18. Pretty good QB specific interview, includes App State QB Brady McBride (Former TX State/Memphis). UNT specific stuff starts around the 24 minute mark.
  19. I don't want Army or Air Force simply because I don't want to go against the triple option a couple times a year. Add either of those and we're all but guaranteed one service academy game a year, potentially more. Yeah they put butts in seats, but is it worth the risk to our players/record?
  20. I don't know if it was THAT bad, but Mason Fine and Graham Harrell definitely got Seth a nice payday. Wren also got fleeced by Jimmy Sexton, but then again that's what good agents do.
  21. I'm sure Craven will shoehorn UTSA in any chance he gets but looking forward to the interview regardless. Maybe in a couple years Morris will give beatdown coach talk like Littrell, but he already seems more personable
  22. First half of the season will determine whether or not we go bowling. We need to go at least 5-1 or 4-2 through the Temple game, because there's a good possibility we lose 4+ in the second half of the year. Of course we need to see how Morris fares compared to Littrell. Here's hoping he's a lot better.
  23. At least we have a soft landing from the bye with ACU. Would be a lot worse if we went straight into conference play
