I agree to a certain point. I think the Indiana uniforms looked bad because the blacks in the helmet/pants weren't exactly right. I also think the feathers on the shoulders/pants match up well with them both being a grey color. I'm skeptical but I do think they'll look better than what we wore against Indiana.

I went tonight. Not a huge crowd, especially after a win, but still pretty full. Talked a lot about Lamar and all the things they did well against them and some about SMU. Had Wilson and Khairi Muhammad there. Wren was also in attendance.

My Observation: I drank entirely way too much to actually remember most of the things y'all are talking about

I think it helps to have the emergence of Jackson on the outside for sure. You could probably get away with Jackson/Rutherford at the X and Guyton/Smiley at the Z, but it looks to me that they're trying to get more speed on the field with Guyton and Smiley starting, so one would think that Bussey would be big, especially with his top end speed.

I also think that Littrell's post game press conference was pretty telling. He pretty much said vertbatim that they ran extremely vanilla schemes both offensively and defensively with little to no wrinkles. Will be interesting if we pull anything out of the hat a la Southern Miss last season.

Really no new changes other than Mose starting at RG. Curious if its because he played well, or if Henson is still hurt.

That'll be big. Wheeler should help a lot with the pass rush, and Bussey adds more size/speed to the outside. I saw where he was listed in the 2 Deep

Because they're finally starting to recruit the guys they want for OL and receiver. They like Fine because he can scramble. I think they'd rather have a tall pocket passer that can make every throw. Fine is useful for who they have now. He looked good against a FCS team that hadn't practiced in a week. I don't think he'll look nearly as good against better competition and when we aren't running for 400+ yards in a game. I'd love to be proved wrong but it is what it is.

We won because we were supposed to. Not because we were dominant. Big difference.

So does this mean I can pick another player?

It's a damn shame. I saw Nitardy in full UNT regalia on Tuesday at the coaches show. I guess Wren found a good spot for him cleaning the bathrooms or something.

From the scrimmages I saw, they would run a 2 TE set a lot with Smith as the H-Back, and Chumley in the Y. Won't be surprised to see them both on the field at the same time.

I'll go with 42-21 as the defense gets burned on a few blown assignments, but we still win comfortably. I'm gonna be so pissed if we have to postpone this game.

Or if we start the season with a bye and play 12 straight games.
