I would add: Take some deep shots early. SMU loaded the box all night and we never even attempted to test them vertically until we were down 28. Stop with the stops/slants/quick outs with 8 guys in the box, it just doesn't make sense.

I loved the new uniforms. I don't think we'll see any alternate helmets this year, but an all grey uniform would be sick. Or black helmet with grey pants/jersey. Hopefully we have a few more surprises this year on the uniform front.

Coaching wasn't the reason. You mean like all the stupid trick plays that didn't work? Or trying to run a wildcat formation against a stacked box? Or leaving quite possibly the best receiver in the country single covered all game? Or throwing all the short passes against a stacked box? Or not throwing it deep until we were 28 points down and the game was completely out of hand? You're right Vito. Recruiting has been terrible under Littrell, but that might've been the worst coaching his staff has put together over his short career at UNT.

We just got our teeth kicked in by SMU. Point blank. Nothing good came from that game. Offense was bad, defense was bad, special teams were bad. I can forgive that. You know what I can't forgive? Our Culture. I had the pleasure of sitting next to @SilverEagle during the game and he has hammered it home time and time again. It is completely astounding that every single person around me, minus Silver, was yucking it up, having a good time, laughing as we got our teeth kicked in. Nobody cheered on defense, except for the band. Nobody stood up, nobody cared. The man next to me(who apparently was an associate AD under RV from 03-09) told me "I will make you move if you continue to be negative" L O FREAKING L. Hey buddy, we're down by 21 and you want me to be positive? No. This team was terrible, this staff was terrible, and they need to be held accountable. You can't outscheme good players. Guess what? I'm gonna be negative. You know why? Because all this "Well he's trying, we're trying, it'll happen" talk is bullshit. UNT90 is right. Other than the handful on this board, nobody gives a shit. This program is a joke, and Seth Littrell and the University of North Texas just bent over and took their pounding, and the UNT crowd loved it. I really hope the O-Line. If we don't have solid improvement up front, the offense will be in for a long day.

Ben has a good point. If we only have 1000 season ticket sales, 7% increase is only 70 more. We have 10,000 season ticket sales, it's 700. Fact is they won't tell us the actual number, so we have no real way to measure success.

I want to see consistency from Fine. Better protection from the O-line/RB's Win

I know they run a similar offense(Or did with Davis as QB) as Clemson, kind of a power spread, although that may have switched with Hicks being more of a pure passer. Defensively, they run a 4-2-5, so similar to ours, but I think they're a little more straight up with blitzes. With 4 down lineman and only 2 backers it's a bit different in how you send your pressures.

which brings up the question of whether or not we actually got our green pants in. Apparently they were on their way when we unveiled the other uniforms. Hopefully we'll get to see them at some point this year
