I don't know. Barr was pretty highly decorated coming out of high school and we were Mose's only offer coming out of JuCo. Maybe they see Mose just as a better fit since they're so big on "system" guys? Hard to tell at this point, either way our OL is still trash until proven otherwise.

Yeah I found that strange too. Mose seems fairly small too. I mean he's listed at 276, seems like he could get blown off the ball a lot easier than Barr. Maybe an undisclosed injury?

I love it when our money game opponents come and talk shit on the board like we all don't know we're gonna lose by 30+ on Saturday. We get it, you're in the Big 10 and we're lowly North Texas. I expect we'll put up a fight for as long as we can, and as long as Harrell doesn't call a single trick play and Darden is our sole PR guy, we might score 28. Final score will probably be 49-21 or something similar.

Loved this combo. Flat black helmets looked damn good, and the grey jerseys were a nice change up. Glad to see this staff is with the times when it comes to uniforms.

While I think it would be useful in certain cases, I believe the extra practice time needed to practice a clean exchange between a center/QB from under center would take too much quality practice time away from an offense that will take snaps out of the shotgun 99% of the time otherwise. I've seen it happen way too often when you try to make a center that snapped shotgun all through high school, then all through college, and couple him with a QB that has never taken a snap under center from high school to college and it end in disaster. Could be more trouble than it's worth.
