  1. Yeah! I'm cool.
  2. Home games at Denia Park in Denton; Directions: south off I-35 on Ft. Worth Drive for one-half mile, turn right on Roselawn, park is on the right about one-half mile.
  3. IMO, our sound system sounded like it was on life support. Distortion whenever there was a song with any amount of bass was played. I cringed whenever any song came on. Speaking of songs, can we update the playlist? I remember many of the songs that were played from when I was in high school. Yeah, I rode the Train ... back in the mid 90s. I might make a sign just for our lovely DJ: Half time was fun ... if you were there for one of the banks. Next Thursday is Chamber of Commerce night. Expect to hear some worthless legislation to be read off stating how this is North Texas night or something worthless to that effect. Thank goodness I go to the games for the sport/players and not the other stuff that goes on when the ball isn't in play.
  4. Glad to see the Aggie 'social reinsertion program' is working.
  5. What genre is Grant Jones?
  6. SJ is becoming a real defensive presence on the court. Should be a fun game to watch this Saturday.
  7. Please tell me this wasn't in a newspaper. Please tell me it was a commentary piece. I know the team has really struggled ... It doesn't even read very smoothly, IMHO ... and extremely one-sided. North Texas believes it did. Hard to tell, no one from the Mean Green was interviewed.
  8. Corey Dillon is a free agent after this season. *Bonus* He wants to play for the Boys as well. I think he could fit well into the Parcells system.
  9. I'm planning on going to the game. It all depends on what time I wake up in the afternoon as to what time I'll make it to the campus. I'll PM you my cell phone number so you call me if there is anything you'd like to have brought to the tailgate.
  10. I hope you guys can cope with Dallas defeating the Saints.
  11. Have we won any games on the road?
  12. It's a good thing finals haven't started yet. I'd hate for Tech to have an easy game. BTW, anyone thinking of making a sign for the Toadies to see? I figure poking fun at them staying home for the bowl season (even though they're playing in a bowl) or the whole finals fiasco. Personally I'm leaning towards 1 of the 3: "10 out of 10 NT fans prefer New Orleans over Fort Worth" "NO > FTW" "Got Finals?" Personally, I like the 3rd one the best...
  13. Our biggest opponent is Indiana. Baylor and TC(who) are a distant 2nd in the name recognition department. How can any fans get excited about playing teams like UT Pan Amermican? Attendence might go up when we hit conference, but that will all depend on how we do right now.
  14. See, I gotta know if the 11th season Paladin has any buffs before I make the call. A SoW can make all the difference if you gotta bail. Armor (especially magical) can have good effects as well. ... ... Man, I haven't played evercrack in ages ... must ... get ... broadband ... connection ... and better ... computer ...
  15. I'd love to have mine changed. My current member "title" makes me look like a NASCAR driver. <_<
  16. Where's the "Makes me want to poke my eyes out with a stick option"?
  17. I'd say that the Student section is green, General admission is yellow, and Reserved seating is red. By my best guess, Blue is season ticket holders? Who knows how it'll work out for the Indiana game. Students better show up if they don't want their section to be sold off for the NT/UI game. Personally, I think a legend might help someone guess what is what in the diagram.
  18. Gak, he's talking about the number of Indiana fans that will be at the game.
  19. This is all from an outsider looking in, don't flame me for it. 1) ASPS has never been about spirit and tradition. Talons have nothing to worry from this group. 2) As far as rubbing people the wrong way, it's some of the cheers you do, among other small things. 3) And the exclusivity is that you have to pledge making it kind a fraternity of sorts, which isn't for everyone. 4) Talons, from my observations, is also very political, which can also bother some people.
  20. Well, if you own a house, the only parking that is guaranteed is your driveway. If someone else in your neighborhood parks in front of your house, there is nothing you can do. Also, when you have an apartment, while there are often times plenty of parking, but there is no guarantee that you'll park in front of your building. You should be thankful you don't work in downtown Fort Worth. When the Tandy Corp. decided to rebuild it's corporate HQ, they decided to put it on their nice parking lot that everyone, including people that worked in downtown, used. I'm not sure how it affected their own employees.
  21. Have they aired the news article yet?
  22. Yeah, I saw that too. After the state has axed funding for some of UNT's great programs like TAMS, they give $300 million to a school with a third of the enrollment. <_< Budget cuts my ... I wonder how UTA feels about all this...
  23. Steve, I'm not questioning you or any other Mavs fan, but ... Duh! The fact that the Mavs made it to the final round speaks volumes of the team and the coaching staff. It only seems natural to give him an extension.
  24. hey, I knew I wasn't good enough to take 1st or second, but you gotta say that the battle for 3rd was intense...Somehow I managed to squeak out a win in the playoffs for 3rd place despite coming in fourth in regular season. Wanna talk baseball? Cause you ain't doing so well.
  25. How can MLB survive with so many seats being empty in so many stadiums? While watching ESPN SC tonight, I saw many good seats that were empty (staduim upper decks looked like our endzone seats as well)...How can these teams afford to contract players for so much? Of course the best way for baseball to die is for the players to strike (again) complaining that they don't get paid enough $$$. <_<
