I've always wondered why the Pit doesn't have bona fide ticket boothes for when there is a real demand for an event.

COG, do you know if and when we might use the "North Texas Mean Green" chant that Rick talked about during the Pep Rally before the New Orleans bowl? I think someone even made a cool flyer that tells fans how the chant works.

I'm there. Who else will be there for the games?

Well, leading by example will work to a point, so I would suggest making signs (good ones that are readable from across the Pit). Speaking of signs, I need to make an "NT S.W.A.T. Team" sign for this weekend.

I plan on being there for the game this Saturday. However, weekday games are much more difficult for me to make.

Why defend Randy Moss? Why? Because the Cheese heads up there allegedly moon the visiting team's bus?! There are better things to defend out there ... like baby-eating as an amateur sport. Sorry folks, but two wrongs don't make a right.

If there was as much fan support as there was discussion about whether Coach Slinker should stay or go ... I think we could easily go fishing for a better coach if the situation demanded it.

I gotta say one thing about Cowboys consistency ... they know how to win and lose in the last minutes of the game.

I just want to throw something through a window. How many times have the 'Boys marched down the field, get inside the 20s, and have to settle for a field goal, or worse yet, suffer a turnover??!!?? That INT Turnover Testeverde through into the end zone on a fade pattern I think sealed the game for the 'Skins. Futhermore, the O-line has given up an ongawdly number of sacks!!!

Coach Jones made it a point to thank those people that made it to the game in the postgame interview. I think Johnny is aware that the team seems to respond better to a larger, more energetic crowd. After this game the Mean Green will be road warriors. I'm hoping for some good games, as tonight seems to have been a good indication that we might. I'm hoping for a hearty "homecoming" when the team returns to the Pit for the conference slate on Jan. 20 versus Arkansas Little Rock. I know I'll clear my schedule for the Saturday game on the 22nd versus Arkansas State. Go Mean Green!!!

I should feel shocked ... but strangely ... I don't.

We could be 8-3 heading into conference play with losses to two ranked teams and a good TCU squad.
