  1. How can 23 be his career high when he had 26 carries last week against UAB?
  2. UTSA's last three games look pretty tough to me -- UAB, Marshall, @La Tech. We'll have to wait and see if they manage to go undefeated.
  3. The USM/UTSA game next weekend will certainly be very important. Game will be available on Stadium via the Facebook.
  4. Two-Deep is posted as part of the Game Notes for each game. You can it here at this link. The AD tends to post the game notes on a Tuesday or Wednesday (not sure of the exact day of week).
  5. Despite the super wealthy getting a tax cut, they still pay the largest portion of taxes collected.
  6. Speaking of Louisville, the Athletics Director and Rick Pitino have both been fired.
  7. UAB is a CUSA West team. I guess we'll see how attendance looks when UTSA and UTEP come to town in terms of NT fan interest then. If it's about the same, then what?
  8. None of the schools in Conference USA scream "football powerhouse." I thought GA was the actual wing part of the endzone, not the lower bowl?
  9. I don't understand why we have to put our conference mates down like this when we're in no better position when it comes to attracting fans to attend away conference games.
  10. So you're saying things like this don't belong in a protest?
  11. 2017 CUSA Standings EAST CONF OVR Florida Intl 1-0 2-1 Marshall 0-0 2-1 Middle Tennessee 0-0 2-2 Old Dominion 0-0 2-2 Florida Atlantic 0-0 1-3 Charlotte 0-0 0-4 Western Kentucky 0-1 2-2 WEST CONF OVR Louisiana Tech 1-0 2-2 North Texas 1-0 2-2 Rice 1-1 1-3 UT San Antonio 0-0 3-0 Southern Mississippi 0-0 2-1 UAB 0-1 2-2 UTEP 0-1 0-4 ODU (2-2 0-0) isn't the same team they were last year. Their only wins are against Albany (FCS? 0-1) and UMass (Ind 0-5). They're scoring 17.75 PPG right now and are giving up 28.75 PPG (with their losses being blowouts -- 53-23 & 38-0). At best ODU is a middle of the pack school in the conference like we are.
  12. For law enforcement yes, but let's say there is an accident in a person's workplace, how would someone who hasn't received that kind of training be able to determine if someone has diminished mental faculties other than a blood draw? There are legal (non-criminal) reasons why people involved in a workplace accident are immediately taken for a drug test.
  13. You going to bring enough gas this time around?
  14. A promo picture and dressing for an actual game are two very different things.
  15. I think scientific tests need to be developed to better determine whether someone is too intoxicated to operate a motor vehicle. Also, just because marijuana is legal to smoke/consume, employers won't be changing their drug policies.
  16. If I ever find out who is giving all the downvotes, watch out!

  17. Y'all are here talking about these great restaurants and I'm feeling like:
  18. Even better that NT has a dedicated member from Learfield working in the AD office.
  19. True, they could have but they didn't. There isn't a special column on the stat sheet to tell everyone that a player was pulled because he was injured, or the coach wanted to rest him, or whatever. You, as an individual, can discount every single stat that exists for whatever reason but the fact still stands ... there has not been a single opposing rusher that has run for more than 100 yards.
  20. We can't help it if the other team pulls their player for whatever reason.
  21. I'm sure there are account managers that "maintain" a certain number of schools.
  22. North Texas has yet to allow a rusher to gain more than 100 yards in a game. Iowa game the closet with three players in the 70 yard range. Opponent FirstName LastName NetYards Iowa Toren Young 78 Iowa I. Kelly-Martin 74 SMU Xavier Jones 74 Iowa James Butler 74 Lamar Kendrick King 37 SMU Ke'Mon Freeman 31 Iowa Akrum Wadley 24 Lamar D. Colbert Jr. 14 Lamar Myles Wanza 13 Lamar Andrew Allen 12 Lamar Kirkland Banks 10
  23. I don't know how he can put UAB's defense above SMU when they gave up 51 points to Ball State.
  24. One thing seems certain with the removal of these statues: it'll cost taxpayers, as a whole, millions of dollars to have all references (street names, statues, parks, whatever else) of the Civil War removed. Case in point: it cost the City of Dallas at least $400,000 to remove the Lee statue from a downtown park. Whether the removal of these statues will have any positive affect on anything is to be determined.
  25. The one, the only: North Texas's own George Dunham
