Here is a link to a page that gives two ways to renew. I renewed online and got my membership card today in the mail. What I'm unsure of is whether I created another instance of myself in their database (if I were a betting man, I'd bet I exist more then once in the database) since they don't do any searches to see if you've registered in the past.

If there is an active chapter in the DFW area, I'll be pleasantly surprised. I haven't heard a thing about the Tarrant chapter in like 2 years.

I wonder what game that was for. Perhaps the thrashing of Baylor?

They're leveling and re-sodding the existing football field to make the new women's soccer field. I've also heard of plans to add a press box and rennovate the stands at some point.

I wouldn't worry 'bout urls pointing to nmnathletics since UTEP's and Okie St's both did the same thing where "premium" content is concerned, so long as you never actually switch to another schools website by accident.

I seem to have err'd. http://www.nmnathletics.com is the company that hosts www.MeanGreenSports.com. Now, I haven't come across any links that point to NMSU's or UTEP's domain. NMSU doesn't even use the same hosting company/web portal software we do, but UTEP does. I know I have seen some links that point to http://www.nmnathletics.com, which is New Media Networks, not NMSU. I'm not sure how XOS Technologies fits into the website, but they look like multimedia experts. XOS might have even designed the software for the portal we're using now. And if any of the pages do navigate to UTEP's site, then it was hard coded into the page and needs to be fixed, although I tried to pull up NT pages through the UTEP website and couldn't get a NT page to pull up. I could be proven wrong if a link can be provided however.

Baylor is the most recent "big" win in the past couple years. I know we've gone to Tex. Tech and beat them a couple times. Some NT fans affectionately call their stadium Fouts West. And lets not forget Cincy (then Co-Champs) of CUSA.

And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Baylor will continue to be the whipping boy of the Big 12, especially the South division. Good to know that you'll be there at home watching our team in a bowl game, wondering what it must be like for your team to be in one.

Yeah, did some sys-link gaming tonight with some friends. Even loaded the expansion pack onto all three boxes and played the new maps. Lots of fun ... and lots of cussing (on the part of my friends) from getting sniped from across the map. I must say, Coagulation is one of my favorite maps.

I think at this point the FW Bowl should be more worried about: 1) Who's going to the rep for CUSA? 2a) Will there be enough Big 12 teams that are bowl eligible? If so, can they get a Big 12 South team? 2b) If not is TCU bowl eligible? I think the fact that the Big 12 hasn't moved the FW Bowl up in the selection process shows just how dedicated the conference is to the bowl (ie not very dedicated). It might be more beneficial for the FW bowl to constantly court TCU, SMU, and North Texas since all could easily fill the stadium with fans and remain attractive to locals in DFW. Otherwise, you end up with the crowd from last year and then the bowl will just die after a couple years of bad attendence. And quite frankly, I don't see how tying the bowl to the MWC will help things much in the long run anyways so long as the FW Bowl keeps its tie-in to the Big 12 as the #8 draw.

Just curious, but what is the "rank" according to? Also, I made see about creating something a little easier to view plus allow you to do such things as sort by weight, height, number, classification, etc.
