    And every prognosticator has put us in just about every bowl game that CUSA is aligned with at one point or another. It's just a guess past the CFBP and the New Year's 6.

    I believe SMU was 3-4 coming into the game but I also didn't go over their schedule. North Texas is pretty strong on defense. Not including today's game, North Texas has forced 109 turnovers and has scored 61 points off turnovers. They've also allowed 47.2 PPG while scoring 63.4. Their sole loss was a 1 point defeat to Kansas State.

    This TN coach search is comical at worst and down right hilarious at best. Sounds like Brohm might not be headed to TN after all?

    Gundy turned TN down, so maybe it's not as good a job as some think? Morris doesn't have a winning record at SMU (14-22 / .388) so why TN would be interested in him is a little perplexing if they are wanting to "go bigger"?

    It's too bad there wasn't any coverage of the women's team. They're 4-1 with their sole loss being to K-State by 1 point. Hopefully the SMU game later next week (Wednesday) is just as competitive and the girls figure out a wat to win.

    You're kidding yourself if you think that if you shut down a pipeline from being built that you'll stop the flow of oil between two points. There is the option of rail and 18-wheelers. Nether are as safe (or as inexpensive) as a pipeline. I'm not say, I'm just saying.

    Offense sales seats, defense wins championships. We've got an offense fans are really enjoying to watch and it has showed here in the last two games. Shore of the defense and we should be a solid contender for a CUSA championship. FAU will be a tough game with the offense they are putting out on the field right now.

    Dropping part of the Army series got us a 1 and 1 with Houston, so didn't exactly rob Peter to pay Paul. Army would have been an away game next year anyway and we're playing Liberty away as well. Dropping part of the series opened up some space to play some other schools outside of the locked in series with SMU and Army.

    So you were fine with the late hits and whatnot Army displayed last night? I think they showed us why they are one of the most penalized teams in America.
