The top 5 schools (for baseball) for attendance for the 2016-17 season were all SEC schools. 6th was an SBC school. Southern Miss made the Top 25. With this line of thought, I have to wonder if you would ever encourage someone to buy a house.

Some people are going to have to move around due to the changes to the MGSF. What was once available before is now reserved for things like RVs (starting at the $1890 level).

I know the B-ville/Rogers area way better than I do any other part of NWA having lived in that area for three years. You're allowed three guesses who I likely work for and the first two don't count. 😉 I'm OK with spending a little more for staying in a nicer (and more familiar) area.

Bentonville/Rogers is much closer. They are in the next county to the north and it's maybe a 20 minute drive away from campus.

While reading about this, I found out that beer can spoil if it isn't kept cold if the beer is not pasteurized. A jockey box works for the tap but the keg may still need to be kept cold (36 to 38 degrees). This link was a little useful to me. Your domestics like Coors, Bud, and Miller might be pasteurized but odds are much higher that your craft beers aren't.

I think you need a cold room or some sort of refrigeration to store both the in-use plus any spare kegs. Depending on how much space that takes may ultimately dictate how many taps you might be able to have.

We wanted out of two of the Army games and Liberty had openings. I'd say they had a fair amount of leverage.

And at the same time, draw more eyeballs to whatever method is used to deliver the games.

Tough to say. Army could have made it a stipulation that in order for the two games to be dropped, NT had to help find a replacement. Liberty also signed a multi-game agreement with Army (which coincidentally was announced at the same time as NT/Army were dropping its two games), which could have been in part brokered by NT. Liberty could have said they'd agree to Army if we played them in a home-n-home 2-game series.

I think 2 winning seasons over the last 10 years has more to do with the disappointing MGSF numbers than a single game/opponent.

Not sure I like an 8:30 PM kickoff. That rules out families with school age children in the name of a national broadcast.

I will reaffirm that Littrell and staff wanted out of the series as the practice changes plus the travel were very disruptive. Anyone remember how flat we looked after the Army game against UTSA in 2016? I do.

I've thought about taking continuing education classes as the Frisco campus because ... well it's closer to where I live.

North Texas averaged just north of 22k last season, which would put the stadium at 73% of capacity. I remember when NT was looking to build the new FB stadium, people were clamoring for a 45k stadium.
