Team quit on coach, not the fans. If the team had totally quit, we'd have finished winless in that season. Portland was the lowest point in McCarney era, but IMO not the lowest point in the program. In my eyes, that is in the Dodge era in its entirety. -

Because CBS chose to broadcast this game and not ESPN? CUSA has three broadcast partners -- ESPN, CBS Sports, and Stadium. I don't know who gets first, second, and third picks but there is a pecking order and UNT doesn't get a choice in the matter.

I think their Admin's history (which is tied to Alabama more than a lot of people think) of supporting the football program might limit their ability to jump to a different conference.
