I agree with SSP...our defense is banged up...If you were in Birmingham, it was obvious to see. So you are talking about a group of guys who are in a lot of pain and who are not very mobile, who are being told that they are not talented and I see no evidence of positive motivation. These kids wanted to be at UNT...our roster is not going to change between now and the end of this season. I hope someone can help these kids keep it together.

From the stands I saw a lotta kids playing with injuries...one puking on the sidelines(stomache bug is going around) and just maybe the faces of a lotta kids that keep hearing and reading that they are not any good. Character is what you have left when the things that you want do not work out as you planned. I hope our team can find it in themselves to rebound...and I hope our coaches and our fans will find it in themselves to help them. Southern Miss better arrive in a stadium that is full of determination...not anger and most definitely not an attitude of "quit".

Pretty sure those weights are the same ones that you would see on last season's roster. I know that some are off by 30 lbs.

I would love to hear our football players thanking the crowds for their overwhelming support in their post-game interviews. We have recently talked about keeping the momentum going...I know as fans, we can help with that. I have often thought that I should wear t-shirts to our games with a message on the back that warns the people behind me that they are sitting in the standing/ cheering section. I think it is a lot of fun to participate in the game. Much better than a casual spectator that can have no influence on the game. Surely, if we all feel the same way, we can help this campaign! Hey people of North Texas...there is a party in your own backyard...Come check it out!!!

FYI...Andy Flusche went into the fall practice at 230 lbs. His goal was 255 lbs which is where he was in Spring practice when he was working with the DEs...He was moved to DT during spring ball so now he has a new goal...don't worry...he's eating!

Where will most of the tailgaters be? Will it be in the grass lot or will there be tailgating in the lot east of Victory Hall???
