I guess I just never realized that once you matriculate through HS there is an option other than college. So this doesn't go against his college eligibility? How in all my years of following college athletics and recruiting have I not known about this? I mean can't kids use this like underclassmen staying in college to improve their draft stock? Go a year of prep school and get bigger, faster, older, more experienced then try and upgrade from FCS offers to FBS?

This guy is a GREAT pickup. 24/7 has him as the 43rd best JUCO in America and 3 best JUCO OLB. Looking at his composite he barely misses out on being a 4 star recruit. I'd like to think I have been watching recruiting pretty closely and checking it daily and don't remember a mention of him. Others might but regardless I think he has been somewhat under the radar unlike a lot of targets. This is fantastic news. That was probably the thing I noticed most last season was how slow our LB corps was. It's amazing how much fast, ball-hawking LB's can cover up deficiencies in front or behind them. Makes you miss guys like Zach and Derek even more. Someone said it best in another thread that our offense should be better with experienced OL, Morris, Wilson, some talent at WR and the X Factor of being coached up in the new system. Our defense needed a lot of help and it is clear SL is aware and addressing it. Also Arizona Western is stacked. In addition to the kids we got they have 4 of the top 50 JUCO's including #1.

I'll be in attendance tonight and can't wait. I just hope cocacaf did a good job on keeping it 50/50 in ticket sales. They did split up the Rose Bowl by fan base. But probably USA fans will be outnumbered.

Dear Athletic Department, I know you don't pay much attention to this board, but PLEASE pay ZERO attention to the detractors about uniforms. I am glad there is an understanding that to 17 year-old recruits as well as the current players this matters a lot. Whether anyone likes it or not is irrelevant. The old saying if you can't beat them join them applies. This is important and should be embraced. Please continue. Tricking up the unis weekly is great and eye catching for recruits and you better believe the players get hyped because of it. If you look good, you feel good and possibly play better. I would love if we changed our unis 6 times per year. Embrace it. And yes, I thought they were awesome. And you better believe I tune into the Oregon game every week partly to see what they are going throw out there. If you don't think recruits do the same then you are naive.

I am extremely excited about the next four years with Dajon of course hoping he stays healthy. Yes he made a couple of really bone headed throws, but that's to be expected. He never looked flustered or overwhelmed and seemed to remain rather calm. Love the kid's foot work which will only get better and a lot of God given talent. Under the tutelage of Canales he will grow. We need to get Wilson healthy. He needs speed in the backfield with him. I love Reggie as a person and attitude. But that poor guy looks like he is running in molasses. Jimmerson only looked a smidge faster to me. But him the backfield with a guy that has speed and watch out. I love the potential this offense has. Let's just hope Dajon stays healthy and mentally focused
