It's awesome to read that board and see all of the chatter about what Coach Dodge will bring in terms of players. Man, it's hard to not have crazy high expectations and hopes. We need to start a countdown clock.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say media powerhouse, just humble radio guy. But like everyone else I love it! How can you not? I fully expect great recruits to follow. I was also glad to see my network (Sporting News Radio) talking about NT and it wasn't ME! I'm going to have to get Coach Dodge on my show and give the program some more national pub! You better believe next football season I'll be mentioning NT football often. I do what I can, as a couple of my listeners call me "Mean Green" because I talk a lot of NT.

First, let me say if there is a topic on this, sorry. The search function doesn't seem to work for me and I didn't want to sift through they 8 million posts recently. But do we have any figures on TD's salary? I see Scottie is reporting 4 years and $2 million. He has two sources. I wonder if it is like a lot of other college coaches where the base is lower and then there are a lot of incentives.

We heard about this already, but here's a new story DMN By BRETT VITO / Denton Record-Chronicle DENTON – Athletic director Rick Villarreal said Thursday that the school is in the process of finalizing a gift to the athletic department of at least $1 million. UNT is waiting to announce the gift until it determines where the money will be directed within the department. Villarreal said the gift will be the largest the department has received during his tenure that began in the spring of 2001.

Well the story has now made the front page of ESPN.COM. What's the old addage? There's no such thing as bad publicity. ESPN

Hey guys, I have been a lurker recently during this entire period, but this thread really strikes me as odd. Granted, I didn't hear what George said on his show, but regardless, anyone questioning his loyalty to NT is crazy. Who cares if his opinion is that Dickey got a raw deal. It doesn't mean he loves NT any less. That's just crazy talk. And I'll tell you, as a guy who also gets paid to give opinions, it's nice to have that outlet. Sometimes you get so fired up that getting to talk about it on the air is helpful, i.e. Parcells going for 2 in the 2nd qtr!!! George is as loyal an NT fan as any of us on this board.

I'm on the air right now and am checking the board in between talking to callers and players. Therefore I can't listen to the audio. I plan on giving a shout out later on the air. But again, don't do it for just me. Regardless, Tulsa is practically spitting on our offense from what I gather. How many times did they go for it on 4th?

Tulsa is confident they can shut down our offense. How many times have they gone for it on 4th, plus to not tie the game!

I'm bummed that they don't have the game archived!! I couldn't watch the game Saturday, but I want to watch it now! MG premium needs to add an archive feature. I'm seem to remember that for basketball. Maybe that was just audio though. I want to see this game. If anyone recorded the stream let me know!!

My guess is because he doesn't qualify for I-A leaders. Usually there are a number of attempts per game that one needs in order to rank at the top. If not, then every running back that completed a halfback pass would be at the top. Those that play video games know what I'm talking about. There's nothing more annoying than looking at the stats on a video game and having a QB that has gone 5/5 be at the top.

Well that NFL.COM depth chart has to be wrong because I know that Duce has been relegated to third on the DC. Verron Haynes is the backup to Willie Parker. That would make PC 4th, but Duce doesn't do special teams and Cowher said Duce might not suit up for every game. I think PC makes his mark on special teams.

I agree that I see it impacting games late, but as a fan who thinks college football games take WAY to long, I like the rule so far. I must stress so far because I will hate the rule when it affects NT!
