Sam Smith has been horrible for years and he's been like the official Sunbelt guy forever. Seriously, we could find better talent working at KNTU right now. It blows my mind that this guy has a job doing play-by-play. I would take Pam Ward or Gus Johnson calling NT games over him, now that's saying something!

Honestly, I can't believe sane people are still posting to this thread. It'll go away if you let it. I saw this thread the other day and started to post a reply calling you know who an idiot and now his cohort too, but I thought better of it. Oops, looks like I just did that. Anyway, knee jerking is probably the most annoying thing that sports fans do. Putting a lot of credence into TD's ability based on this season alone makes you short-sighted and irrational, IMO. Do we suck yea, but to claim the sky is falling is just dumb! Very dumb.

Well, I said along that I felt Vizza would be the starter by mid-season and I think Meager is done now. Vizza had some massive bumps but he'll be alright.

Another Vizza TD pass, but that might have been the worst coverage I've ever seen on a pass. Not a good throw, but I'll take the TD for sure!

WHAT? Many have been REALLY high. Great catches have been made by Jackson and Fitz. I wouldn't call them dead on. Although his TD pass to Stickler was nice!

Boy Vizza locks in on his #1 WR more than I do when I play on NCAA 08 and that's saying something. He'll learn.

That last pick goes in the stats, but it doesn't matter it was like a punt. Very unimpressive first half offensively. I thought the defense looked pretty solid.

WAY TOO early. Coaches are universally horrible at clock management and when to go for two. Shouldn't have chased the points there. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us.

Is Vizza the starter because of an injury or by performance? BTW, Vizza just made a DUMB pitch that lead to a turnover! 1st series two batted passes, not a good start for him.

It probably won't be HD. It'll most likely just be 4:3 with the bars on either side. If you aren't in the metroplex it's on gameplan. On Directv it's channel 781. If you don't subscribe to ESPN Gameplan you can buy it for the day. On Directv a daily purchase is $21.95. If not go to a bar that shows Gameplan and maybe you can get them to put it up.

Spencer, in his fourth NFL season and second with New York, played in the season opener against New England but was inactive the last three weeks. He first appeared on the team's injury report last Wednesday with an undisclosed illness. The Jets do not discuss injuries or illnesses. Spencer's agent, Mark Slough, referred questions about the linebacker's situation back to the team. Spencer was a sixth-round pick of Oakland in 2004 out of North Texas and signed with Tennessee later that season after the Raiders released him. Spencer signed with the Jets last year and has 40 special teams tackles in 36 career games.

Yea and I'm still wondering. I said that night I doubted that it has ever happened, but I'm still looking. I would be surprised if that's the case, but you never know.

I will agree with Rick on this one. I posted last night that I expect NT to lose big in these games, but it bothers me when we provide next to no resistance while doing so.
