It is just freaking amazing to me all of the transfer buzz and actual commits that we are getting already just with a coaching change. It makes sense when it was said that players want to play in a high powered offense. We see it actually coming to fruition here. Oh, but wait, it is hard to recruit at UNT.....

Looks like he is decommitting from TCU. He is a 4-star out of Marvel (near Houston). Not sure we have a chance, but other than Baylor and UH, he doesn't have any TX schools that have offered. Sorry if this didn't need it's own thread, but I just wanted to make a comment and it didn't really fit under any existing threads. Among all of the other positive things Coach Littrell brings to us, I really love the fact that he seems to be fairly active on social media, especially twitter. Maybe this will help in recruiting some. Maybe all college coaches are like this, but I am just used to McCarney who had to have someone show him how to turn on a computer. Well whatever position he plays, some good schools wanted him, so that has to speak to his talent level. Actually might be a decent recruit by Mac and co. I give them one +1 to try and add back to all the -1's.

It is one thing to just disagree, but you are saying that your team is going to bust just because they didn't hire who you thought they should. That is not being a fan and I think you are letting your hatred for RV take over what support you have for your alma mater. Or maybe I am just being childish again......

If this was Smatresk's hire, maybe he truly is moving forward with replacement of RV.

I just graduated last year, and didn't have a chance to join MGC, but I will be this year and seriously considering season tickets! The more I read this statement, the more it sounds like his announcement is based on Littrell's plans. “Because of the nature of the people we have talked to, we have a schedule we have to work with. We are still in the process. That is all I can say.” Because of the nature of the people we have talked to... Doesn't that sound like, "We don't want to screw with his current gig"? Maybe I am reading too much into it, but that's all we can do now!
