  1. I am a big Jason Edwards fan, but his basketball IQ is not very good. I think he will gain this. I too see the rushed shots by him, but that isn't because he doesn't get the chances. Look at his attempts per game. Right up there with starters. What I see is he is trying to be the hero and jacking up all kinds of shots instead of looking for the best shot. Whether he will learn not to do this, we will see.
  2. Exactly this! 100% my take. I would like to see Rubin try to be the closer. A Scott's offense is too inconsistent, Jason Edward's decision making is not good. Sissoko is not polished yet. Buggs has still not shown a ton. Noland might be the only other option.
  3. I wonder how many other schools already have transfers committed since the portal opened.
  4. I am by no means a SL supporter. I think they did the right thing in getting rid of him, but if we are talking about being better than what he left, that's my point. Regardless of what type of bowl it was, it was better than sitting at home. Hell, we were even in the championship game. All those points that were made in the original post mean nothing if it didn't get the job done. THAT'S what I was saying.
  5. But we had just finished making a bowl game.....just sayin.
  6. This is exactly how I feel. Back to back NIT Champs doesn't sound too bad though! 😉
  7. Wow....
  8. Well, I think this was a chance for us to prove something. I still believe in this team, but it shows where we are right now. We are middle of the pack.
  9. That's going to make this really hard. He has been the best player on our side.
  10. Not sure why, but we fall in love with them so much.
  11. I agree. Unless he said something.
  12. Second game AScott is not playing well. Not a good sign.
  13. Can we stop the TP posts in the game thread please? He plays for another team, we have a game to win.
  14. Maybe a little, but still at the bottom. https://www.warrennolan.com/basketballw/2023/stats-adv-pace And https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/stat/possessions-per-game
  15. My buddy actually noticed this during one of the games. Everytime the ball would change possession Noland would sub for Stone and vice versa.
  16. Well, I guess I jinxed them. They lost again today to Southern U...
  17. I agree. If we can get this one, it will show the team has actually improved since LSU and St. John's.
  18. Hypothetically, if he starts next season as bad as this season, do we "give him another year because insert excuse here"?
  19. A committe chooses the at large, yes, but if you win your conference you get in to the chance at winning a national championship in basketball, no committee needed there. Even with the new 12 team playoff, it helps, but doesn't really benefit someone from CUSA. What I am saying is that if it were more like March Madness, it would increase revenue and maybe balance recruiting just a little bit.
  20. I knew this was sarcastic, but just for a split second when I read the title, I had a moment of sheer excitement.
  21. The problem in general is involving a committee at all. It should be more like basketball where the committee isn't as involved nearly as much.
  22. The only thing I saw was Aaron had a pretty bad offensive night. The only other one like that was LSU. Luckily we didn't need him, but it worries me a little that when it happens, he cannot buy a bucket. In the teens percentage-wise.
  23. Wow, this was the most inactive game thread I have seen.
  24. Yeah, and the way it happened. I feel like there was something more going on when he deserted the team.
  25. I would say that about the Boise St game, but Miss Valley. Comon.
