    It is crazy how hard the NIT is to get into now. And people like to crap on it, but it is almost like the runner up to the NCAA. Almost....

    This game won't mean much for seeding I don't think, but for playing well and beating a team that will be a contender going into the tourney would be great momentum!!

    How can you win your conference regular season and still be on the bubble? That's crazy to me. Oh yeah, it's because we never get respect, we have to earn it.

    All of that just makes me more excited about this tournament and even next year. Imagine if we can hold onto JE and add another similar to him. This team could see a ranking I think.

    After seeing UTSA beat SMU, I will chalk that one up to our injured players having some rust to dust off. This game was a good testament to that. Both Rubin and CJ played some damn good ball. I will include myself in this, but we have to get our numbers up!! 2 pages for a game thread is low!!

    I agree. I have no excuses for that loss. Based on the last 2 games, maybe it shows it was injury rust getting knocked off.

    Yeah, this one worries me. They might have had it circled on the calendar since last time when their coach punched the wall.

    I don't disagree. The offense is really the biggest problem. If we had another JE, we would be ranked IMO.

    This was exactly how I felt. I still don't feel confident going into the tourney. If this team beats FAU, that's the kind of win that would carry some strong momentum into the tournament.

    Yeah, I agree, but we still have a few more days before the next one, so have to dissect this one otherwise @TheTastyGreek might want to give us an update on Temple Oranges!

    I agree. I feel like it is just up to the ref on whether they call these. There have been many, many times we are literally straight up and still get the foul call. I am not a ref, but I would love for someone to explain that to me.

    Kinda goes against what most on here clamor for. Big names in OOC. I actually would be ok going 13-0 and playing no one. Exactly what USF did! You may be on to something....

    So, it goes back to that article that @NT93 posted. We just need to schedule nothing but 300 NET teams and be undefeated. Seems it is fools gold for the committee.

    I know, I am blaming the coaching staff. Right now my point is that Stone should not be a scholarship player, but I don't know if the others should or not.
