I am hoping this is gunna be Atin. Last night was a good step towards that.

Honestly, looking at our games and stats, we have offense from multiple sources now. That was not the case when we had teams with Jason Edwards and TP. I feel like on the offensive end, this is really a team effort. The scoring droughts come due to the defensive intensity the team brings. As I mentioned in another post, it is very exhausting to play hard on defense. This is why in the NBA and other types of teams you see so many runs. Not sure if people notice, there aren't many big runs in our games.

I had confidence one of these things would happen. Can you guess which?

This is the double edged sword to playing hard defensively. If you have ever played basketball, playing hard defensively wears you out. I think this contributes to lots of jump shots on the offensive end, but also tired legs.

Draper doesn't have the voice for color, but his content isn't bad. That's all you want out of a color commentator. Kyle is a pro though. Really proud to have him as a play by play. I thought for a second our battle flag was on the side. That would have been $$$$. I still do like these though. But the same defensive system. This is why he gets the start. I would want D out of my 5 before scoring.

How are we not on that list? They have some pretty lower end schools on there...

This is where I have been for a little bit. I went to a couple of the games where I thought they could make a difference in their national credibility, and we know how that went. Not sure why I was expecting anything different.

I think that's the point. This is not a thing anywhere except the elite programs.

I think this is just a spray and pray campaign. They aren't really filtering the list.

I think it was already said, but I believe the team wasn't interested in playing this game. The opponent and it getting scheduled so late. You could tell the energy wasn't there. When have we seen this team be so sloppy with the basketball? I wouldn't overreact to this. W and move on.

This is exactly where I was with Littrell before he got canned. At this point, it is maddening that we make a change and stay the same. We just burn through money year after year for the same results. I don't know what the answer is, but I know this isn't it. I agree, we should not give NT unproven coaches anything over 3 years. I would even say in today's NIL and transfer portal, you could even go 2 years.

I almost said something about that. Hahaha

I know this was probably because of Thanksgiving break, but looking at the stadium, you could see this big time. The screen play has its place, we use it WAAAY too much. I know it is part of Air Raid, but it only works consistently against slow, bad defenses.

My Dad was actually mentioning this that he noticed most of our games are during the weekday. That does hurt attendance for those that work and cant get to Denton in time. Is this just an AAC thing?

I agree with this. I understand he made these decisions, but a lot of good coaches have bad hires. Now if this one fails.....
