My Dad was actually mentioning this that he noticed most of our games are during the weekday. That does hurt attendance for those that work and cant get to Denton in time. Is this just an AAC thing?

I agree with this. I understand he made these decisions, but a lot of good coaches have bad hires. Now if this one fails.....

Today at 12:28 PM #5,093 2nd year North Texas coach beats our coach in his 4th year. FWIW, they were also better than us last year in his first year, according to KenPom. I'm glad North Texas fans don't have to "embrace the suck" like us Gophers fans. I wonder if we'll be able to beat a ranked team this season? I forget what that feels like tbh. The thing about scheduling these lower division schools is a similar thing that all P5s do, at least in football. They want their records to look good at the beginning of the year before beating up on each other later in the conference.
