  1. http://www.hudl.com/profile/5286919/josh-owens/videos Under videos he has one titled Junior year and one LT Sophomore year. That'll give you an idea of why he's being recruited at Tackle and not H/TE we don't really have tight ends anymore H is a different type of athlete.
  2. Yeh bc Zach Orr and company haven't given back.......
  3. Text me, I'll get this info passed along
  4. Good lord... former athlete who "owes us"..... just quit posting.
  5. Ut*
  6. Sign the papers immediately lol
  7. I don't think a spring scrimmage is a bad idea at certain areas. The only problem is getting the kids from those schools or surrounding area's to drop what they're doing on a Saturday (Probably at a track meet) to go to a Scrimmage.
  8. $ and being HFC/AD lured him away
  9. Marshall ain't Desoto but they've got plenty of Kids
  10. He must not know who I am. Never been dunked on.
  11. In no way am I making light of Young, but he can't hold English' Jock. English is really special.

  14. lol I think it is. If it gains you a practice it helps win games
  15. Shoot, I'd rather see best on best, f the spring game format. I see more vs 1s on 1s than 1vs3 and 2vs4
  16. You thought they'd respect our 5'9 QB? Who had 0 offers.... come on.
  17. You wanna win?
  18. There are coaches who will go after the big name for sure. I just pray that every school has a guy like my school does who wants the best FIT for the kid. Shoot he's the only one who has to spend 5 years there.
  19. or for instance, its 108 degrees with a heat index of 118 and you're required to take a break every 15 minutes under shade with no pads on OR you say hey I'd rather get my full 2 hour practice in today, tomorrow when its only 100 and we can practice without mandated breaks.
  20. THEY AREN'T GOING TO PRACTICE IN IT NON STOP........ IT JUST ALLOWS THEM THE OPTION!!!! Good lord.
  21. https://athlonsports.com/college-football/college-footballs-spring-1-130-starting-quarterback-rankings-2017 Not a ton of weight to this but an interesting read for boredom during Off-season.
  22. Be a big get, but I think he goes elsewhere. Just a feeling.
  23. Quiet period The quiet period tightens things a bit more, preventing any off-campus contact or viewing. Visits to the college's campus and written or electronic communications are still permitted. Coaches often try to have prospects visit campus unofficially during this time in the spring and early summer, so that they can become familiar with campus.
  24. Because Jr. Days are open to anyone to sign up. You don't have to be a FBS prospect to come to campus and see what it is like. All the people I know in coaching world have set up every Jr. Day for their athletes. I did this as a favor to Cooley because he asked. I am sure if he asked Calvin's coaches they'd be more than happy to help set it up. You can sign up for Jr. Day at every school in Tx/USA as long as you can find their Director of Recruiting or HS Relations guy on the school website and email with the athletes class, position, name, and school just like we list on our thread titles. http://www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/June2016_DIBowlSubdivisionFootballCalendar_20160613.pdf http://www.sbnation.com/college-football-recruiting/2014/12/17/7401635/ncaa-football-recruiting-periods-dead-quiet-evaluation
