When they get one offer they usually pour in with this body type and film. Crazy how it works.

I know that this will sound like arguing to argue, however I can promise Harrell is not in over his head. When you can't run the ball it doesn't make a flying flip what you know or don't know. Anywho Harrell may be right up there with Morris's/Littrell as far as offensive minds in the game. He's special and we're lucky to have him, he does need to get his unit going but remember how many receivers we lost. We ended the year with a walk on starting and getting a lot of reps and 2 true freshman playing a substantial role at WR (Wilson, Bussey). I am not making excuses for the guy but he was playing with half a deck. Only play that bowl game I questioned was the reverse pass (only because it didn't work). That player was told over and over in practice if it ain't there just run and get what you can. Obviously, in the game he was trying to make a play and you can't fault him for that. I think as fans it's so easy to only see glaring issues with colored lenses. This roster is in a bad way and will be for probably 1-2 more years until we're back up to the allotted scholarships. I may may be wrong and these guys may never turn the ship around, however if there is a group it's these coaches. My one complaint is recruiting, or how slow we are to offer kids who can play. I know it has to do with the fact that again we will have a small class due to the blueshirting we have done with the '17 class. At some point (I hope this class) they will stop blue shirting and sign a full class. Lastly, my preferred DL is Young, TJ, English with English being able to slide back to nose on pass downs and bring in more edge rusher type. I'd like to see what Mylam Peters could do in that spot. Good looking dude who won't see the field at LB. -
Who cares?

247 page has nothing posted, but according to his twitter he has offers from Navy, Grambling, Northeastern State, Alcorn St, Delta St, PVAMU, Tx Tech, Air Force, UTSA, UNT, Incanate Word http://www.hudl.com/profile/5122765/mekhi-garner Just watching his film this kid should be getting more attention unless he's undersized which he doesn't appear to be.

That's on coaches for promising something, even if they were told it would be done. -
Nothing at all wrong with Finnegan, he throws a beautiful ball. 160 pounds at 6'1.5" is tiny, and could be what scares schools away, will he maintain his speed as dual threat guy if he gains the needed 30-40 lbs to hold up against D1 LBs trying to crush him. But he runs away from several DISD teams defenses and we all know DISD has some kids who can fly.

Devlin had Angelo State, Southern, and Prarie View A&M out of HS, only UNT out of Navarro. Also, here are our current offered QB's Pro Style 1. Clayton Tune 6'2.5" 200 - Kansas commit, UNT and UH offers rated .8367 (My #1 preference overall) 2. Davis Brin 6'2" 180 - Uncommitted, Bowling Green, UNT, ULM, Toledo, New Mexico St, Rice, UTSA, ACU, Holy Cross, Fordham rated .8366 3. Kason Martin 6' 2.5" 181 - UNT, A&M Commerce not rated Dual Threat 1. Spencer Sanders not typing all his stuff he is locked at OSU 2. Tanner Mordecai not typing all his stuff has 18 offers BU, Georgia, OU etc. 3. Chance Amie 6'3" 191 - Uncommitted, Ark St, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Colorado St, FAU, GSU, UH, Iowa St, ULALA, UNT, Rutgers, Syracuse, UCF, Virginia rated .8514 4. Aaron Allen 6' 175 - Uncommitted, Army, Georgia State (GSU see above), La Tech, ULM, New Mexico, UNT, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulane, UNLV, Cornell, McNeese St rated .8362 (My personal preference after Chance Amie for Dual Threat) 5. Stacy Conner 6'5.5" 175 - Committed to UNLV, Tx State, Ark St, UConn, Illinois State, Jackson St, Memphis, Nevada, UNT, San Jose St, Cal rated .8073 6. Cade Finnegan 6'1.5" 162 - Uncommitted, UNT, ACU (I like this kid alot just doesn't have the "size" when looking for prototypical college QB) Here is my stance on size and UNT.. go get the best dang player available if they're small but a football player then screw it. We have to WIN and win consistently before we start landing prototypical D1 kids who can play (not projects). Just my two cents for what its worth.

He aint coming here, somehow says he has 2 for 2 in his twitter profile. Meh move along fellas the pipe dream is gone.
-
Ask Tech, they just got two guys from a Wing T offense from Frisco High. If they can play and have the feet/hands that can translate into new system they'll be fine if not it could be ugly.

keep banging our head against a brick wall? R try something, not all out assault on Florida kids but send a coach or two down there and see if you can't pull a few.
