  1. So I just want to make sure I'm getting this straight. In TX one of the greatest states for HS football a 6'1" 270 lb DL goes from unranked and two offers on February 7th to adding Rice, New Mexico, Ark state, Kansas st, Sfa, Tech, HBU. In a matter of 4 months and people still think this staff can't go out late find similar talent, but now instead of schools jumping in later it's 1 week before signing day and they can't. I'm not saying you build a class like that but it's possible to add 4-5 kids a class IMO like a hambone type kid. West tx-El Paso not many people beating down doors. Sure may offer kids there but not spending $$ there. Anyway I'm just posting this because I think it goes to show again we can identify D1 talent. If we can do that early (and the kid goes somewhere else) why can't they do the same late? Yes I know most every other school will have evaluated etc etc. I'm just posing the question IF they evaluate a kid and he's good enough to play late why not trust them?
  2. We can agree to disagree.
  3. No doubt bring on the undersized ballers!!!
  4. Same ish system. We run the ball more than most Air Raid teams but going from 2a oklahoma HS ball to D1 is a steep jump for even a redshirt freshman to make let alone a true freshman.
  5. As soon as Seth sees this he'll likely pull offer. First off, never say your chasing bigger offers. You have two schools who offered you a scholarship. Then you don't even mention planning to visit UNT meh, on to the next one.
  6. I'm gunna say it's bc of his height. Teshard Choice is 5'10" so this young guy may be 5'8". Just don't see a lot of 5'8 kids playing big time college ball when they can get a kid who's 6'2 that can do the same thing and their bodies will hold weight better. Not saying this kid can't ball because I love his tape. Has added Liberty, Abilene Christian, University of Montana, Navy after our offer Also holds UNT, Howard, South Dakota State, and Central Michigan.
  7. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
  8. If Dville wasn't blocking him why the heck weren't they reading him lol 😂
  9. Y'all are adding kids at rapid pace. impressive. Y'all got a gun slinger yet?
  10. This class will help. Manase Mose will start day 1 he's probably best player in class just a bit too short for P5.
  11. Yes Siggers from what I was told will play primarily RB but they like him in empty as mismatch guy. I got to watch Siggers almost knock Allen out of playoffs by himself. Fun game dude balled the entire game Safety, QB, RB didn't matter. Get him the ball and watch him work.
  12. Darden steal of the class IMHO, closely followed by Siggers/Davis. In my opinion Siggers steps in and plays very quick like game 1-3, Davis may too but our defense is more solid than O so he may have a harder time early getting on the field.
  13. It's easier, he kid I know you live 4 blocks away, but you know Houston traffic blows so it'll take mom/dad at least 2 hours to get here. Boom it's like going to school in another state lol
  14. Holy hell!!! This is comical
  15. You hit the nail on the head! Several coaches ask, who has offered him? My response is generally the same, do you think he's an _____ (FBS, FCS, D2 etc) athlete. Then I'll tell them once they answer. Too many schools offer after someone else does. Bowling Green is hands down the best at being first to offer kids. In my few short years coaching, year in and out they offer first and kids blow up typically bringing in 3-8 more offers after they get BGSU offer.
  16. I'm in! Hopefully the wife understands 😫😩😏. I'll send her for a mani pedi that'll make it up lol.
  17. Don't feed the trolls.
  18. Why is putting Mac on that list asinine? Dude left us in scholarship hell because he was too lazy to recruit, too stubborn to quit pounding the vodka, and too senile to run a very easy social media site that allows you almost unlimited access to kids across the nation at NO COST. Easy way to expand your brand, get kids excited about your program not just locally but nationally. Mac's one bowl win to me does not justify leaving him off that list because of what took place the last two years he was here, along with the mis handling of scholarships.
  19. Surely someone took pictures at one of the coaches caravans?
  20. No, he seems to be more worried about the "recruitment process" than finding a home and staying put. I am all for a kid taking his time and am even ok if/when they decommit but not the ones who constantly go back and forth and seem wishy washy. Good luck to the young man now lets go get Rucker and a few of his teammates.
  21. Not people believe, it's true. I have a buddy who coaches there. That's why he left.
  22. Read somewhere he was going to JUCO
