So, for everyone to know if you click a kids hudl page and the video is old, there are a few tabs at top of kids pages. Click video and then you can find most recent that way, not the "pinned" highlights.

DRC: Lake Ridge QB Jason Bean commits to UNT
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Preach. I believe us UTSA and a few smaller schools were QB offers rest as WR/DB and that's bull crap they lowered his rating. Ive tweeted Brian Peronni to ask how a rating drops after a kids page is updated with offers. We shall see what he says. -
He also didn't play football from MS to his Senior year I believe.

DRC: Breaking -- Tyler Wilson has officially left UNT's program
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Never said he was hard to replace, you are aware P5 talent slips through cracks all time, grades, shocker I know... (Test scores) to qualify or character issues. I don't know the kid but have coached long enough to know there are reasons kids with talent slip through the cracks. Sure you can say 13 catches, he also was in true freshman season with true freshman QB with a bad OL. Lots of things factor into catches. I don't know the numbers but I'd be interested to see how many targets/drops etc he had. -
Zach has a good head on his shoulders and his family is one of the brightest I've been around. There's no way this gets announced if he hasn't received confirmation from several doctors that it's ok to return to play.

Top 100 recruits in North Texas for 2018

Could possibly end up with 5 off that list. If LeBlanc was here he'd be in there making it 6 -

Tyler Wilson is a P5 talent. He lost his dad and let some grades slip. -
Are we? Bet 2-3 years we get one

One thing to keep in mind on recruiting and assistants
GMG24 replied to Harry's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Nope, so long as new guys make their faces known kids don't know the difference. Coaches do but can easily update contact info if they're present which we seem to be. -
Nope the kids were recruiting to QB are straight Qbs.

For future reference you can always click on videos at top of profile, then you can see all videos.

I'd turn it into the PARTY Pavillion for current UNT students who are of legal drinking age. Throw a pool or lazy river in, make it a damn attraction!! Let's go!! Lol

I think you'll see him as more of a short yardage back, but I always loved his running ability when he played QB. I think he could play RB for us in Empty personnel as well. We shall see if I'm seeing college athletes in same way college coaches are. Hardest part of coaching IMO is being able to project and be accurate with what other coaches see.

I'll take Connor Means and I have no idea why, like the kid met his family, and think he can play a little bit. We shall see.

DRC: Lake Ridge QB Jason Bean commits to UNT
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
This is not an issue IMO, dude had offers from other FBS schools where they wanted him as their QB. There is so much that goes into recruiting, alot of times schools that are smaller don't want to wait around for a QB so they offer out to 5-9 of them and if they get a kid who wants to commit that they like they'll take it rather than sitting around waiting and getting burned. I have no problem with this pick up regardless of any offers being valid or not. -
Not be over looked but his team mate Tauskie Dove is also in that picture, and that my friend would be an amazing pick up of those 3. Please sweet football baby jesus give us these three.

Need UNT twitter users to shower him with love. Illinois has been after him hard and heavy, obviously playing in the Big 10 is a big deal, and they have some crazy facilities to boot. We need to hit him hard about staying home, changing the culture, and being close enough to his family they could watch him play every Saturday. I am working hard, but I have to be unbiased and send my kid where he sees as the best opportunity for him. Believe me I am selling the good things about UNT, and he loved his visit to UNT and the vision for changing the culture that the staff talked to him about. Here is to hoping for the best!

Both, here's his JR tape http://www.hudl.com/video/3/5664801/583dce00dfd8b82e109045ac

If he ran 4.65 sparq verified he's probably a high 4.4 low 4.5 hand time and that's scooting for a QB who isn't considered Dual threat

Here Is What Recruiting Success Would Look Like
GMG24 replied to MeanGreenMailbox aka TFLF's topic in Mean Green Football
So if Montgomery thinks a kids D1 he is but if Littrell does then he has to be validated by other coaches? If things follow as they have pretty consistently through Littrell's tenure so far other schools have waited until later and gone after our kids. See Houston last year at the end of the cycle- 64 replies

Just an edit, trying to copy our uniform, but putting a little flavor on it.

Darden will never Ever get off Los doing that spin move. That cover corner or nickel has bad feet and worse hand placement. All that being said Darden will play from the jump, and contribute big time.
