Yes quiet period. The quiet period tightens things a bit more, preventing any off-campus contact or viewing. Visits to the college's campus and written or electronic communications are still permitted. Coaches often try to have prospects visit campus unofficially during this time in the spring and early summer, so that they can become familiar with campus.

No ones assuming, just what I'd be comfortable with, given his issues and he'd count against our 25 this year, that's probably closer to 20 or less with Blue Shirts we brought in.

Hinge game for me is FAU, how good will they be. I know I'm probably a bit biased but the kids have bought into what Littrell is selling them. Got to chat with Guyton at one of our camps, and he told me these workouts match what they had at Notre Dame but felt different. I asked what he meant and he said it was more of a bond with UNT like the guys really cared about each other. I asked how many TDs he was gunna snag this year he said always wants to beat previous year so he told me 16. I told him 20 or he owed me and he started laughing. He said coach you know I got the big body I'm not running away from anyone. He and I chatted a bit more and he said they needed as many of us to show up to games as possible. I told him I'd make all games I could. I knew him from coaching him at workout camps when he was in Allen. Excited about the season. He told me the WR group is gunna turn some heads this year and I told him I thought they had a chance to be special.

How about 5 losses? Still good? Curious what the cutoff is.

People don't give them enough Credit. But the question still remains, if we lose 3 games UTSA being one of them do you still fire him?

As far as I've read he had one traffic stop where they found weed parafanalia and open warrants. My guess unpaid speeding tickets. Anyway if you want to win, you're going to have some borderline guys. This guy as far as I can tell isn't a gun toting felon, I'm good with giving it a shot as a walk on. Just my opinion, but you aren't going to find a bunch of kids who can play ball who don't have their issues whether we know about them or not. It is what it is. You get them here and try to continue building their character while winning games.

I'd give him a spot as a walk on, with a 0 tolerance no chances no mess up understanding. Position of need as a return man who was a top return man nationally at TCU, against big boy ball.

Lighten up a bit. You'll be pleasantly surprised with what freshman do get to play this year. Darden is steal of the class I think. Just think we were UH away from getting Devodrick Bynum and Tre'von Bradley away from the class being pretty dang dynamic from an offensive standpoint.

This dude is the truth! He wrecked havoc on us as a true freshman. Here's to hoping he flips. Cheers.

You lost ya mind my man. Tapps schools especially 5 level are damn near FCS teams, the way they can bring kids in on "scholarship". Shoot may as well call Bishop Dunne Red Oak 2.0, Prestonwood LCS, and Nolan all pulling in plenty of talent.

Investment vs Facilities are different. But I don't think our previous lack of facilities LR that was and kind of still is in the 80s, weight room the size of the weight rooms at some MS's in DFW, lack of team room now renovated and much better, lack of adequate nutrition for athletes (competitively speaking with peers) and no real wow facility. Yes apogee is nice but they see a field where they play not the club level or suites. That will change with the IPF I think. Hopefully some serious money is being talked about for that LR, it is a chance to wow a kid or make him think twice. These things all factor into recruiting and none are the sole reason you win or lose a recruit but they can definitely help/hurt your case. I am also curious as to how many have seen facilities of our peers, or even upper echelon of G5s.
