DRC: Breaking -- Tyler Wilson has officially left UNT's program
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Fine but the bullet a lot, he's ahead of his age in wisdom. He know she he take s the bullet even if his OL was bad, or wr ran wrong conversion, back didn't pick up blitz etc. Think we will see a vast improvement this year. You don't become the first ever two time Gatorade POY because you can't ball. -

You need 2 QBs for competition sake, but you don't yank QB in middle of game cuz he tries to make s play and Fs up, unless you're ready to make that permanent. See what happened with Fine and Morris. If you have two QBs you got none. -
I mean does golf count? That was to get out of school, but I only joke I'm pumped about this kid he can play
-
I remember being in HS, yeah 12 years ago sneaking into UNT games after halftime at Fouts with friends, and walking through the parking lot wondering why people weren't in the game.
-
The latters family isn't sold on him being at Illinois. Parents loved UNT. Barry Switzer always recruited mom then got the recruit on board. Momma knows best.

15 minutes before the game we take all student I'd numbers scanned and draw for a free meal plan/housing for the year. With one catch they have to attend 3 other home games to get their check/credit.

We need Morris to win and get hired back by some Clemson hating school. Then let SMU hire Mac out of retirement lol

DRC: Echols-Luper transferring, has interest in UNT

In your opinion could the kid help UNT? I think he could even if only in return game. -
Never tweeted an offer... hopefully he didn't take a PWO spot. Man but I can't think Todd Graham tweeted about a PWO "committing"
-
He'll change his mind 1/2 more times. Kids got too many people in his ear.
-
Yes, but with Mose he came from a very very heavy Power scheme at Trinity where he pulled probably 50% of the time which means he can definitely run your stretch or Outside Zone schemes. Manase will have to work on Pass Pro technique which he'll gets hours on end of doing in practice and film work talking hand placement etc. That's where you get kids into camp watch them pass pro etc if their run blocking peaks your interest you get them into camp and check hip bend and ankle flexibility (their stance) then watch their pass pro technique and work on correcting it. If they don't change a dang thing all camp then move to next one, if they improve you keep an eye on them. I've never coached OL so I'm probably under qualified to answer this, these are things college coaches who come through to look at players we have say when they like/don't like OL. @BillySee58 can probably give more insight to this position than I ever could.

DRC: UNT key newcomers No. 3 -- Nick Smith will play key role
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Get ready, this kids about to put on a show. You don't leave Arlington Martin HS as the all time leading rusher in yards if you can't absolutely play. @BillySee58 did he hold the TD record as well? Anyway this kid is going to be one to watch for 4 years. I am ready! sorry Vito, but check this article out. Not just Martin record all of Arlington School District. 🔥🔥🔥 http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/arlington-citizen-journal/article45681588.html -
I'll disagree, Stars or offers? Also let's drop that to 3 we won't be landing any 4 stars anytime soon. If he has offers from navy, army, temple, Georgia tech, and New Mexico but he's rated a 3 star he may not fit here depending on his pass blocking ability/technique. Our OL have to have able to move well in space with the stretch scheme we run yet still be able to pass pro. Anywho we can agree to disagree but there absolutely is something to be said about recruiting to your scheme.

You mean this one? https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/05/kyler-murray-opts-out-of-mlb-draft.html Where he was slotted 32 and 34 respectively. Gotcha. -
VISITING FANS SECTION Visiting fans receive excellent seats (compared to where most venues throw the visitors). Generally, visitors receive the corner sidelines rows 1-70. They also receive the first few rows directly behind their bench. Also, there are scattered Iowa Season Ticket Holders in those sections and rows, too. Here is an approximate location for the visiting allotment: Section 110: Rows 1-70 Section 109: Rows 1-10 Section 108: Rows 1-10 Section 104: Rows 1-5 Section 103: Rows 1-10 Section 102: Rows 1-10 Section 101: Rows 1-70 North Bleachers: Rows A,B,C,D,E

Exactly. Typically their gameday Polos are for sale at most schools, with a shirt or two sometimes. I do love the Green long sleeve and would probably buy 3/4 so I could rotate them lol

18' WR Stefan Cobbs, Keller Fossil Ridge
GMG24 replied to UNTLifer's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
I'd go where they wanted me from the start. Sloppy seconds ain't my thing. That's just me. -
As much as they're allowed to.
-
And Fine, QB run game is big part of his game. But yes. Being able to run Inside zone would be helpful. We couldn't do it to save our lives last year at least with any consistency.
-
He'd have his work cut out at Tackle IMO, but he's got good hips so he may be able to make it work. I'd be more worried about his length at Tackle,6'3 and his arms don't look real long. Put that mean joker at Guard and watch him and Mose have a field day.

Also has Midwestern State and UCO
