  3. Cody Fulp may surprise you.
  4. Ok. Way to compare apples to oranges. You realize they break Texas up into sections of recruiting... so every big time school sends a recruiter to drive the pinewoods of east Tx. That doesn't fit your narrative of consistently bashing the staff. I cant wait until you have to eat crow when these kids turn out to be ballers for us.
  5. Sometimes people should just sit back and relax. Kid waited around on a bigger offer, our staff took commitments from 2 other LBs his ship wasn't available. Doubt we take 3 LBs gotta start evening roster out, so a few at each position will be max aside from OL/WR I'd guess.
  6. 48 miles to Anna from DFW Aiport, and 15-20 miles out of the way, but if you read my entire post maybe you'd understand the argument I'm making. Didn't say he was number 1 player in Nation. If he was that good absolutely he'd have everyone knowing where Anna Tx was. He may have not camped, he doesn't enough defensive tape to warrant a coach going out of their way to drive to Anna when they can stay within DFW and hit 5-6 schools in the time it'd take to go out of their way.
  7. While I'm not sure he turns into that caliber player, I do agree if he were to only have tape as a DB and played in DFW he'd be a sure P5 lock. Too much of his tape is at QB and that's fine with me. Anna is a bit of a haul out of the way for most non local coaches who usually stay on the highways, 121/75/DNT/Bush/35E/35W/114/820/20/30. One coach who came through our HS told me we were his 12th school it was 1 pm, he had 7 more on his schedule but would probably stop at some other schools if he had time. So, if he's gunna spend that time driving to Anna He needs to have guaranteed tape, and then he'll see kid with his own eyes. I'm assuming the young man didn't need camp much which also hurts.
  8. Offers from Sam Houston state, Illinois state, and University of Central Arkansas http://www.hudl.com/video/3/4112436/57c7322edfe2994158a73565
  9. Jarrian Roberts has moved on, so I will take another player who will be gone after this season. Calvin Minor will have a huge senior year! Take that for flare.
  10. Offense 35 Defense 28
  11. Or Lincoln Riley sending a message to a kid who has never played a down putting other guys on notice!? They can go get another QB just like him next class. I'd be ok if we looked into it.
  12. I'll disagree that many, many were but yes he absolutely held onto the ball too long at times. I'd guess 15-20% of sacks were on Fine.
  13. Hard to do that when you can't block the basic plays you have.
  14. TCU no brainer IMO but that would be awesome if we got him!
  15. I wonder if this means Canon goes elsewhere or are we only putting this on one side? I like the idea provide a different fan experience, it's right where recruits hang out pre game. I wonder if they'll have to be issues ear plugs that cannon is devastating if you're within 100 feet
  16. Dang I just posted the same one lol
  17. Love this!! Quality stuff.

  18. I think it speaks to getting your best players on the field however you can. He moved from QB-RB (hurt his shoulder and didn't play last year)- now to LB. he can run and doesn't seem to mind contact. I like the move a lot.
  19. I think you'll be pleased with our secondary's progress. A guy who trains local HS DB and college kids told me they've been working all summer in man technique every one of our DBs. His opinion, Brooks best player in secondary, McClain could be a NFL talent if he has break out season with a few more INT/PBU's, said Jenkins is the hardest worker of the group FWIW.
  20. End Zone Club A limited number of seats in the North End Zone Club area will be available to the public for the 2017 Bowl Game. For $125 you will have the opportunity to access the premium area right on field level, just behind the North End Zone. This club includes access to complimentary food and beverages and the best view in the house. Tickets to the End Zone Club can be purchased once tickets are available this fall. I am pretty sure it was like a double decker type deal, field level then if you wanted climb up a ladder and watch from 10-12 feet above the field.
  21. Heaven forbid they make sure to get more than one guy reps.
  22. At the major schools football makes the $ that funds every other sport. One day, maybe we will be there.
