Rice first thing they ask is GPA and SAT and ACT Test Score. I believe a 3.7 is the lowest they'll even look at. Other schools typically ask about the kids work ethic, does he love the game, what are his best attributes. Then if they like the conversation they'll ask if we can turn the tape on. Typically, they've already done their HW and watched the tape.

Very tough, the first question most coaches ask is VERY different from the first question a Rice coach asks when they visit our school.

This team will be just fine, the defense we played gives me plenty of hope. Offense was unable to pass around the giant they had in the paint. Smart needs a few set plays to get open shots just to get him going IMO. Our defense was really solid all game. Offensively, guys looked like they were pressing to me, instead of taking what defense gave them. Come conference play I think we will all be pleasantly surprised. The slow it down game was different for me, as I though Gmac was more of an uptempo guy. Guess he knew what he was doing. 20+ turnovers and only lost by 14.

Got a 6 month old making the trip with the wife and I anyone know what the policy is with diaper bags? Their website says no oversized bags, briefcases, coolers, etc. I saw on the site they do allow re-entry if you scan out as you leave.

I'll be the first one in line to apologize to Biagi. Called for his job early on, only unit I'm still concerned with is KO coverage. But this is an impressive accomplishment.
