All defensive players can be replaced with equal production. McClain got toasted too much in coverage and got exposed he won't get drafted. Jenkins will be toughest to replace. Think Cam Johnson steps in and replaces immediately. Between safeties we have on campus and what we're bringing in McClain won't be as missed as you think. DL will be better and LB shouldn't have to watch McDonald get drove or unable to get off blocks anymore as the freshman we have should be stepping in nicely after a big off season. Offense kept us out of SMU, both FAU games. They didn't do crap in first half of either FAU games. You think defense can just go out and get stop after stop with 45-90 second breaks and no time to adjust or get coached up? NOT GUNNA HAPPEN MY MAN. But then again, that would require you to know a thing or two about football.

You are so oblivious. Of the 22 STARTERS you know, the guys who get the majority of the reps, 10 of 22 were So or under. 2 more were juniors in their first year of D1 ball.... if you are a bit bad at math as it seems... 10/22 is 45% you know a TON of freshman and sophomores. NEXT

FAU was better than us athletically at every position in field IMO. We played a ton of true freshman/soph. I expected this game to be rough not as bad as it was in first half, but when the offense can't do anything in a half it makes defenses job impossible. Look at difference in 1st and 2nd half defense. Sure they gashed us a few times, but that's what the better team typically does.

Gave up 9 sacks today. Gave up 23 all season.

You don't offer scholarships to "hope grandpa does this" or hope we can get this donation. The coaches at UNT and all over country have seen the kid and all agree he isn't a D1 QB. UNT proved they'll go find and offer a guy that no one will if they think he fits, they obviously don't think that. If your hypotheticals worked out that would be great, but UNT is already all over the Ford Center in Frisco and tied into Cowboys. We're doing pretty good in that area already.
