Question, one thing they told kids over and over in recruiting presentation in game day was after last practice they were starting construction. Did something come up or was funding never fully met? Not a good look to have this happen multiple times across different sports.

LOI is a letter of intent. Once you sign you're there, unless you want to transfer and lose your RS not sure how that process will work.

Question, no info. In those games how many possessions did they have compared to the other games? What was our offensive output those games, as far as possessions, drives, etc. Those things are all inter-related. How many TO's did offense have? In this type of explosive offensive system your defense is going to be exposed to more possessions from the other team, yielding more opportunities for points. Not an excuse because our corner play may be the worst I've seen since following UNT. Embarassing is an understatement. I believe we will see changes, just not sure what those will be. We had a kid starting at MLB who played D2 ball last year.

I never said how we had to throw it, simply we had to throw the ball all over them to have any chance. I didn't agree with all the calls we made, but guyton and smiley got behind their safeties multiple times, but Fine was running for his life and didn't see them or went to a shorter throw in the process. Shouldnt surprise me, but so funny how some on this board (no one in particular) can consistently be so unhappy about anything. You’re comical to read. You have any idea what our rushing stats for that game looked like? Even without Fine’s sacks... in the first half we had 13 rushes for 11 yards not sure what sack totals did to that. We could not run the ball vs them. Our ONLY chance was to try and throw it all over them.

Ehhhhh I’d pump the breaks there, but he’s a 5’9 (maybe) Nose. Now I’m cool with an offer to him but I don’t think this kid is more than an FCS kid. I’d take him bc he’s from Aledo and if he does make it now you’ve shown Aledo we take care of kids who can ball and maybe you get 1 a year from there.

To be fair, his offer was pulled after he chose to not sign early. No idea of the context of offer being pulled, but that is the very conversation I had with both athletes we had sign D1. It's your call to wait and see what happens, but if you have schools who want you it's best to choose from those options. If you don't they'll likely look elsewhere i.e. Pull ship. Id love for us to land him, and sway some metroplex coaches back to UNT. I think he can play nose for us extremely well too.

Lol, I've sent him to the staff three different times with no reply. Kid hasn't been in trouble, makes good grades and outworks everyone in offseason. Idk that we would land hi,m, but we would be his only in state offer. Alas we haven't extended an offer.

Kid can't play at Arkansas if it is a legit offer, it's to continue bringing Jerry Jones $$ into the program or even raise it. Good call by Morris but I will gladly eat crow if Jones ever plays a meaningful snap at Arkansas.

I would certainly be skeptical if multiple 4 star kids with 15-20 offers chose us. But I'd welcome them with wide open arms! Lol

Well aware of that, but I think if he played at 300 pounds he'd be much quicker than at 330. I am not saying he'd be some unstoppable force but I think he'd definitely be serviceable.
