    Novil and Shaw provide you with a SOLID 2 deep at each spot. Add the JUCO from Trinity #94 Tuulau Saafi to the mix and you've got 7 really good ones who can all play at a high level. I think the best sleeper on the roster is #99 Nicholas Pichon

    IMO Davis is better than Preston was in coverage. It remains to be seen if Muhammad is better than McClain ( I think this scheme fits him better than McClain) and Brooks looks to be back to his old ways. I think DL improvements and LB physicality make up for the deficit some along with improved DB play. I don't personally think our secondary is where it needs to be speed wise for the FAU type teams. I think the front 6 can make up for that though.

    A good DL and pass rush help, I don’t think Secondary is as big of a problem as everyone acted. You play man with no safety help you’re gunna get burned. You do that vs teams who have better athletes you get burned more often.

    He is a game changer and will be crushing SMU dreams shortly. He will have to play himself into shape. He has a step none of our DL have. He is seriously a freak. No one will believe me until he’s doing it in games, but he provides no drop off and an improvement in my mind over TJ when he comes in.

    From my understanding it is gone for this class but next year they gain it back towards their total of 85. Is that correct?

    Agree except for the following. Southern Miss and UTSA deserve to be in the 2nd group both were very close to having a much different season last year.

    My personal opinion they give him a look at RB and Safety both see how he progresses then make a determination.

    May want to get in contact with Shelby. Not sure how “open”our practices are. Every school is different. Seth seems pretty laid back when it comes to that. Some HC will cuss anyone out who pulls a phone out during practice.

    There will be several walk ons added post camp. We also have one from Oklahoma Littrell specifically pointed him out to me and said he was excited that we landed him. I’ll leave names out until They update the roster.

    Bookmark it, he'll blow last season out of the water. All his weapons are back except RB. Smith and company will replace that.

    What's Army was doing and 95% of coaches across America are teaching the hawk tackle, near hip near foot hit with shoulder wrap and roll player to ground. Takes the head out of the tackle. It sucks that our guys got hurt in process but I saw nothing dirty in regards to tackles that game. If they're rolling and twisting post tackle and whistle that's a completely separate issue.
