Not sure, but a buddy of mine who coaches at Lundblade's school told me that Toledo informed Lundblade he was their #1 recruit. I am sure everywhere lies and tells people things like that. If toledo pulled those two in they would have two very promising young lineman.

I don't think Heard is the type of Talent that most clamor about. He had a hard time today throwing out routes, Driving the ball to targets with accuracy and did not show me much in terms of his shiftiness. His speed comes from a long stride. I am sure I will be proven wrong but I don't understand all the hype with this young man.

Once you pay out your "Stadium donation" over 5 years then the only thing you pay is the yearly donation plus cost of seats? Is it 350 per ticket per game or 350 bucks for the seat for the year?

I'm down, I create a "unt" bracket every march madness. Bring on the bowl season. This young guy can teach some of you old timers a thing or two.

My wife (a coach's wife unfortunately for her) has to sit in the stands and listen to parents talk down about my coaching style (choices, decisions, playing time, etc.) she has to have tough skin every game. I commend her and praise her after each and every game. That is just MS ball. I can't imagine what some of these college parents and coache's wives go through. God bless our family.

You've hit the nail on the head. Only reason for Sunday game is if Desoto feels it needs it and honestly I wouldn't blame them. 4 days for a turn around is tough let alone state semi final. Tough spot for both teams.

I got a buddy who used to coach in Allen and he said Desoto is putting in some kind of waiver, apparently in UIL rules there is a stipulation where if you only have 4 days between games you can petition to move the game back, and potentially force a sunday game. It has happened before (Softball I believe) but very VERY rare.

I will be a MGC donor even if its at the lowest level. I will purchase season tickets next year, but it seems like they would have more concise info on the website as to who to contact regarding that specifically. There are 0 email addresses listed when you go to the donor page. All is has are phone numbers and everyones title. No knock on the girl, but the person in charge of getting more alumni to join MGC and season tickets played vball for UNT in 08-09 timeline I read. Could we not get someone with just a TAD more experience??

Harry, I got King suite w/ champaign and chocolate fondue for the Ole' Lady and it was 169 plus tax. It is not even a 10 minute drive to the downtown carrolton dart station where We will be getting on the train. Keep that in mind. I am sure you can swing the 269 but figured I would throw out the invite. Again, I'd like to get a group of UNT alumni and UNT fans to gather at the hotel.

I am sure UNT will be more than capable of gathering more tickets. I really wouldn't worry about it as long as you get ticket and show up wearing green.

Omni Downtown Dallas on Lamar is where the majority of fans will stay, they are in the works for a new years eve party and a brunch with mimosas and bloody mary's on game day. I am personally staying at Omni on LBJ its about half the cost of the Omni downtown and you can add onto rooms and keep it close to half the price of the same room at the downtown omni. I will ride Dart train all the way to Omni that morning have brunch then ride the train to the game and home. Hope this helps. I am looking to get a group of UNT fans at the Omni on LBJ and have some new years eve festivities there.
