I believe in statistics. We are 7-0 when rushing for 150+ yards. UNLV gives up 210 per game. That equation to me = UNT victory. Man I am so giddy for this game to get here. Funny, Chris Jones doesnt seem to agree with Benfords sentiments of being a PG and distributing. He retweeted a tweet where a fan said he wished Beford would let Chris score more and not make him only a passer. He would do anything but eat up a scholarship. Kid has ridiculous potential. He has offers from New Mexico State, ACU, and another small school. He has a work ethic issue (only does so when he sees benefits of working hard) probably because he has only played football for one year and never been accountable to anything until this year.

I have not seen one thing through my UNT email from the University talking about the bowl game. NOT ONE THING. I think anyone in our athletic office who is in any way shape form or fashion related to marketing they should be fired, and replaced immediately. I am also disappointed that no plans have been announced they have had over a week to get things ironed out and get information out there. I am currently VERY disappointed in our athletic office.

Not sure, but a buddy of mine who coaches at Lundblade's school told me that Toledo informed Lundblade he was their #1 recruit. I am sure everywhere lies and tells people things like that. If toledo pulled those two in they would have two very promising young lineman.

I don't think Heard is the type of Talent that most clamor about. He had a hard time today throwing out routes, Driving the ball to targets with accuracy and did not show me much in terms of his shiftiness. His speed comes from a long stride. I am sure I will be proven wrong but I don't understand all the hype with this young man.

Once you pay out your "Stadium donation" over 5 years then the only thing you pay is the yearly donation plus cost of seats? Is it 350 per ticket per game or 350 bucks for the seat for the year?

I'm down, I create a "unt" bracket every march madness. Bring on the bowl season. This young guy can teach some of you old timers a thing or two.

My wife (a coach's wife unfortunately for her) has to sit in the stands and listen to parents talk down about my coaching style (choices, decisions, playing time, etc.) she has to have tough skin every game. I commend her and praise her after each and every game. That is just MS ball. I can't imagine what some of these college parents and coache's wives go through. God bless our family.

You've hit the nail on the head. Only reason for Sunday game is if Desoto feels it needs it and honestly I wouldn't blame them. 4 days for a turn around is tough let alone state semi final. Tough spot for both teams.

I got a buddy who used to coach in Allen and he said Desoto is putting in some kind of waiver, apparently in UIL rules there is a stipulation where if you only have 4 days between games you can petition to move the game back, and potentially force a sunday game. It has happened before (Softball I believe) but very VERY rare.

Agreed. Cerebus keep up the good work. I am bringing two new people who haven't gone to a single UNT game. Alumni that said "man, we have a pretty good defense this year huh?" I replied, You don't even know. Our boys keep winning everyone will come around.
