I attended the SMU UConn game today. Let me say this, unless we do something fast, and I mean very fast with regards to facilities and championships/ tournament runs. We will be buried in the rear view mirror of SMU. The new Moody is very cool and Larry Brown is bringing in big time recruit after big time recruit and landing them. I do not like to compare ours vs theirs and play the keeping up with the Jones' mentality. But, I know if I was a HS kid with talent, and I went to both schools gyms Moody would far outweigh the Pit. Anyone else have thoughts? I am really nervous about how close SMU is to national relevance.

I voted for Greer, however I think if Dajon gets healthy in time for spring ball and I mean 100% I think he could get the nod. I am excited either way and trust that coach Mac will select the QB who gives our University the best chance to win each and every game.

I am going with my father-in-law long time SMU fan, grew up watching them with his father. It gives us something to talk about plus I love Larry Brown and any time I get to see a legendary hall of fame coach I take it. However, I will be wearing my Charcoal Mean Green HOD Bowl Long Sleeve shirt to the game. You bet your back side I'll get some looks and that my friends will be worth a million bucks!

I leave these things up to Vito thats what he gets paid to do. I will wait for him.

They said the only place not being traveled to was UTEP due to distance, number of buses, and lodging the costs would be really high to get the band there. Again, that is only rumor mill.

I heard from a band parent that we won't be traveling our band out to UTEP next year as the logistics are ridiculous. I Hope that is not the case at least let the top 3 or 4 chairs for each instrument go.

This would help at the D-end spot for sure. This kids motor is the kind that coach Mac likes. He plays hard every snap. He would also help to continue tying into guyer and getting players from there. I know he and schilleci (sp) were good buddies in HS so that could have helped.

I think Will Wright will be invited to a camp, not sure that he makes a roster, he may make practice squad but a LB who can cover and play the run is a nice option.

Didn't Coleman not travel with the team at some point last year during the break for the same reason?? This team looks lost and out of shape to me. My first time seeing them but we look a day late and a dollar short on every possession (even the ones we score on).

I would simply make sure you have your tickets and as soon as the doors open quickly walk onto the train and sit down you should be plenty fine on train space with Dart. 209 seats per car set, usually have 3 car sets running together.

Parker Road Station, North Carrollton/Frankford Station, Beltline Station, & Northwest Plano Park and Ride are all Fair Share. I will stop by tonight on my way to the hotel and check the cost and post later. However, you can always go one station down from the end of said lines and park for free. I have never paid to park at any dart station. I am going to the Trinity Mills station.

A buddy is at the Downtown office right now and called to tell me he was told by an A-train employee that they were out of the passes UNT bought. That is cool and there better be a lot of people riding the train if thats the case. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else was on their way up there to get the free pass. Man the excitement about tomorrow is really hard to contain.
