Harry, how come we can't give you the green plus or red minus??????? Waaaaaaah I was going to one up your last post!

I'm not to worried about UT's QB assessment seeing as how they didn't recruit Manziel or RGIII to play QB. Talent evaluation has been lacking in that department for awhile at that school.

His brother Seth has D1 potential but work ethic and attitude leave a lot to be desired. However, older brother Zach is a work horse always 1st one in last one out of gym. -

UNT recruiting target series — Clayton Woods
GMG24 replied to Harry's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Billy and Harry, I guess it wasn't much of a question just topic of discussion. The Hebron OL coach said when UNT wanted to talk to Jamal he was down to BAMA and 2 others. But really wanted UNT to look at the other two kids, and they didn't even sniff. I've heard it said in coaching circles that teams with good walk on programs typically means they miss on recruits and have to get them to walk on. While I know some of ours are transfers, Mr. Kirby shouldn't have had to walkon kid should have been scholly players that signed. Not real sure where I am going here. Also, I think HS coaches have a pretty good gauge especially at 4 and 5a levels on talent. I bet Jamal got pulled out of class so much the kid had to show up on Saturdays because he missed so much class. -
UNT recruiting target series — Clayton Woods

Billy, I was talking with Hebron O-Line coach about UNT and recruiting. This past year they came through and wanted to talk to Jamal Adams. Now, while I appreciate their effort but the dude already had every offer known to man. The HC tried to point them to another stud OL and RB the OL is now at Purdue and RB Utep kind of made me mad that they wouldn't even look. They've got to pick and choose those battles IMO. Your thoughts? -
Do your research on NIT last few winners have followed up with boosts in recruiting and making good runs in March Madness. You're foolish if you don't think a strong showing in NIT can't help a program.

Usually one can take parts from one side of story and parts from the other and find some truths half way in between. -
Yall are crazy, our coaches like to party. Bet you can find them at the casino shortly after the coaches caravan. Any takers?

You really think Frazier is a LR cancer?? He's the first one up on the bench for a good play, or hustling to help teammates up. Curious where you get he's a cancer. It is amazing how people will simply blast kids these days with 0 knowledge of the situations.

It is a mentality for the kids to Hit6 thats not the end goal but thats where you have to get to make yourself bowl eligible. I love the idea and they have embraced it again because I have heard and seen kids tweeting it.

LOL weed…. really? a friendly adult beverage = pizza and if you have a problem with PE teachers come out and say it. We aren't on the front lines of saving $ out of your pocket because every other American will be diabetic without an intense intervention on PE's behalf for the next generation.

If I did not have an open house to attend I would be there. -
Sir Calvin will be a play maker this season, and I am willing to bet a slice of Pizza as we say in my PE class (between coaches) on it. If you can't guess what a slice of pizza is then well our conversations will be done.

James Jones just had intestine surgery, so Whitfield would be a good bet, and Fred at MLB why not?? Young guy in there with 2 stud athletes on his outside to help ease that process. I agree with these spring game starters.

One would think he's a bit over our head Billy at this point. What are your thoughts??

I am REALLY excited to see what Reinhardt can do. Watched him several times in HS and that kid is flat out mean when he is blocking. He punishes his opponent and is relentless when he has the ability to finish a block. I am also interested to see our spring game to see what the blocking from TE's looks like and the ability to separate from those blocks by our DL.
