Boys and girls, SMU just made a great hire. Dude can recruit, and well let's face it, you get what you spend for. We won't soend for a coordinator, and we will suffer. We need young blood (that can coach their butt off and recruit) to maintain pace with SMU this could get ugly.

Curious, why do you think their lineman don't get recruited but skill guys can't keep scouts at arms length? Some of those heights would make decent cusa sunbelt lineman size I think.

Scouted them and Marshall, and I must say, they have plenty of guys on their line 6'1-6'3 who have no d1 offers but would make nice DTs here IMO. We would have to do some work to find them but they are there.

Not true, I have filled out an employee evaluation every year I have coached. I am on year 6. Granted I have been at Middle School and High school levels, but those forms carry weight, as do my bosses evaluations of me.

Ill give you my two cents after we play Creighton on December 21. That will give us several good road tests, and some home ones as well. Anything before that is worthless IMO. Andrew, do you have any reason for not liking Benford's 30 minute suggestion? This is how championship, particularly conference tournament and NCAA tournament teams are built. Far more than not, you see tournament teams who make runs have great benches and utilize a lot of players. I like it for one reason alone, you know you have a limited amount of time you will be on the floor. I think the intensity and effort level should remain high so as to utilize every second they have on the floor.
