They invited him to the game, but he felt more love and contact from creighton staff, and sat behind their bench.

C-USA schools to offer "Cost of Attendance" scholarship boosts
GMG24 replied to MeanGreenTexan's topic in Mean Green Football
I know two kids from liberty did that, got drafted and part of their contract negotiations was once baseballs done they could chose their school to be admitted and receive their 4 year degree... Doesn't mean that's everyone but two cases I've heard of this. -
Yes.

Andrew is still a loser... Only because he supports TB.
-
Check my post, I never compared myself to Benford, although I have 0 doubt I could coach better than him and I'm a MS coach.
-
You should be used to that after backing TB for 3 years..

Ty''Rick Bennett, is a kid MUTS and SFA have offered, we haven't, yet creighton, uta, Texas tech, and WKU all call daily...... Unt? Not so much. He's a local kid.

2012 Hs - Zach Leday - 6'7" Sf (South Florida)
GMG24 replied to TheTastyGreek's topic in UNT Basketball Recruiting
Interesting news, talked to Seth, he has mostly A's in all classes, I'm sure bc of his gf at Seminole, maybe he lands at UNT. Combs type of athletic kid -
268 is all bones for this young man, he is a hell of a talent, don't get it mixed up. He has a TON of work to do in the weight room, eating wise because I am sure his metabolism is off the charts. Interested to see he, Harris, combs, and the atm transfer. Man talk about a group of talented kids. He can play at this level, and will finish as a dominant cusa level player IMO if he stays healthy. ( see Ben Knox)

No no no. Running clock stops lasts 2 minutes of each half, fouls on shots are 1 shot for 2 points, or 3, don't like it, don't foul. Everything else is normal. Best way to play games like this IMO.
-
It may not sway them, but is sure as hell can turn them away.... If you think otherwise you're crazy. Also, that's 5 kids out of how many thousands of recruits every year.

Hahaha surely UTSA wouldn't say no to an AD with so much experience

I'm offering a 1 for 1 trade. I hate UTSA, but I am willing to trade them AD FOR AD. Anyone say no?

We have got to get him on Campus... You're not the defensive mvp of JUCO just because. The kid can play! Man I hope we figure out a way, or he takes care of a class, or whatever the issue is. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Any particular reason, I don't disagree.

MGB: Offseason questions series No.1 -- QB situation
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
True, however even in the "system" ( I hate that word as it insinuates anyone could step into the "system" and perform) Boykin was in he needed reps and practice to refine his skills, not taking away from the new guy they brought in because he is a heck of a ball coach, but if Boykin did not have the growing pains early on, I doubt he would be as successful as he was later on. -
MGB: Offseason questions series No.1 -- QB situation
GMG24 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
Y'all remember how terrible TCU's young Boykin was right? Took a few years, A LOT of turnovers, and some good coaching to turn it around. Now look at him and their offense. http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/517127/trevone-boykin Now, I'm not saying he's Boykin by any means, but I think you have to give this kid chances, specifically with the play calls made. Don't put a RS freshman in those spots if you know he makes bad decisions. http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/549918/dajon-williams -
Also, lifer, not necessarily saying we HAVE to recruit him, just a kid I think could really contribute if his game continues to develop, as well as Reggie Chaney the other fella I added on here.
-
Thus, why I am happy he can get here in the summer to attend summer classes, get academic help and acclimated to the class work before season hits.
-
You don't think football recruits start receiving mail in 9th grade? Same principle. Anthony Hines received plenty of offers as a Freshman. That is just how it goes. https://lsu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1523395

People who teams like UNT need to get on early and stay after.

Lol, hey, they're only in on first downs they should be able to get out and run
-
Yes you sure can, stretch, toss, even Speed Option. But to each their own.
