So, we are ok with returning to mediocrity after JJ pulled us out of the muck? We really did have something special going here then watched it slip away.

Williams waited around and tried committing to San Diego State and the offer was already taken by another recruit. He wanted the big 12 sec offer and never jumped on really good offers. I would not be surprised if many of his are still valid. Seems like a good kid, watched him play several times this year and definitely would not mind him at UNT.

Ok, so wouldn't that make this even more telling at how little we are getting in return for money spent? I would assume our budget has changed in the upward direction. FLY, I know you are a big booster and I absolutely appreciate what you do for UNT athletics, one day I hope to be able to contribute at a high level to my school. However, I can't possibly help but wonder where you stand in terms of A. What we look like on the basketball court B. Why we still have so many darn away games in football and can't bring in a QUALITY OOC opponent C. Why as a recent alum I have received 0 mail trying to get me to join the MGC or been recruited in any way to join Season ticket status. While at this point I will be joining as a lifetime member after I pay off my taxes, and can't purchase season tickets because I can't make every game. I find it very odd to have not received stuff. I would think it would make sense to really hit your recent grads 2-7 years post graduation hard to join your MGC and Alumni club.

Yeah, surely there aren't any kids that would fit that mold running around DFW.... Josh Hawley 6'6" from MacArthur I am not sure but I would guess he'll grow another inch or two before its all said and done. True shot blocker and rim runner. Loved watching him play.

KRAM I don't read DMN honestly took that stab out of nowhere. Promise. Also, I was a MGC member out of graduation then never got anything on renewing, I will be joining once I pay these dang taxes... My wife and I will be lifetime members.

KRAM, is there a possibility to ask RV why LaTech is getting it done, again, spending less than us and probably (outside of 2 boosters) having less funds? It's really starting to hurt my feelings that they continue to kick our teeth in.

Cooley, do you think he will be able to keep up and down the court at the d1 level right away? Not saying he is or was the player just basing my evaluations off what I saw. I am excited to get him.

He was partying on the beach, dumb tweet sure, but Weber is looking for any and all scape goats going into his final year. Trying to get people to believe he is doing it the "right way." Come on Marcus Foster we welcome you with open arms at UNT. LR cancer or not, the coach should be bringing in players who can step up and yank someone around that can't act or abide by the rules. If that doesn't work then the coach can step in and start by taking playing time away and after all of that is said and done if you still can't get kids to buy in well then, its probably time to go (for the coach).

Cooley, I also believe he will contribute early, but lets define contribute. I am thinking somewhere along the lines of 16-22 minutes, 6-8 rebounds (strictly off of length, and positioning) and 4 points a game. Your thoughts? The hard part for me is I coached against this kid in MS, then again when he was a JR and while he did get stronger much of his game was the same. I did not watch him play this past year so it may be an unfair evaluation.

DAJON is our Boykin IMO, he's gunna screw up plenty but his upside is to much to ignore. You may win 3 with him but you could also win 9-10

Billy, you think it has to do with Mac calling his position coaches and saying, you better find your guys and recruit your position bc your jobs on the line if it under performs? Fair or unfair I feel like Mac has gotten to that point.
